good bar food, helpful service, love place, great dj, great happy hour, good fun crowd, unique atmosphere
Outstanding happy hour specials!. We tried The Arsenal with friends for their Carmageddon specials and couldn't have been more pleased with the cheaper than fast food but high quality happy hour menu. The service was outstanding with a sexy and cozy atmosphere. We will be back.
Mac & Cheese Fries... I shouldn't have to say anything else.
They have Mac & Cheese Fries... Really? And Mac & Cheese Pizza. That's what my friends and I thought when we saw it. What crazy evil foodie genius thought of this? The fries are crisscut fries, topped with amazing creamy mac and cheese then apple cider bacon and tomatoes. It might just be the perfect food.
The burgers are solid also. I really like the Modern Burger with Burrata Cheese.
My friends loved the chicken sliders, especially cause each one of the three were different, one bbq, one cobb and one hot wing style.
They have great beers Allagash Curioux for only $10, $8 at Happy Hour and a great Tequila and Whiskey Selection.'m definitely going back soon. This is definitely a spot that my co-workers would love for happy hour.
You Can't Spell "Arsenal" without "Arse". i'd give half a star if they would let me - may not even be worth the half star I'd be willing to give it. whatever they were trying to accomplish with the New Look at 1950s Prices promotion, they failed - and lost a loyal customer in the process. the promo was only 4 nights long, and at my 7:30 seating for night 4, I was told that they'd run out of practically everything on the menu, including the steaks we ordered - yet they wouldn't budge on their "only one item per customer" rule. hey, if you're out of steak, would it kill you to let me get a burger AND a grilled cheese? the waitress couldn't have been less gracious. other flaws included telling me the menu "lied" about a champagne split (I was given only one short-poured glass), taking 92 minutes (!) to get us our burgers, and not even asking whether we wanted more water (we did). the coup de grace was on our way out watching someone who'd been seated an hour after us get served a steak - after our steak orders had been forcibly changed 20 mins after being taken. I regret to inform you that The Arsenal sucks - and the new copy-of-The-Viceroy interior won't matter.
Fine, I guess.... There's nothing inherently wrong with the Arsenal, a classic Westside hang that serves up strong cocktails like the Grasshopper with chocolate vodka and creme de menthe and Pompomtini with pomegranate vodka and pom juice. Drinks are good. There is no line to get in. There are even places to sit if one so desires. It's fine. Okay. But not a destination spot -- especially if you prefer a smoke-free environment when attempting to get some "fresh air" on the patio...
Awesome Local Bar!. Low Key, Right around the corner from my place, awesome bartenders, good music & good crowd! Overall a goodtime everytime I go to The Arsenal!
Love this place!.
I always have fun when I come here. It's close to my apartment, they have a great happy hour, play good music, have a large patio area and I love the bartender, Paul.
The Arsenal is always our default bar & I am proud to call myself a regular. =)
Great spot to hang or meet with friends. I have fun whenever I come here with the girls. OMG try the Kobe burger or FIlet, mouth watering! Try their aplle martinis, the best i've ever had. It's a very fun atmosphereand feels grown up. DJ's have never dissapointed me, i love it here! This could turn into a habit :)
Good Beer, Awesome Burgers. Beer was great, very clean tap. Had the kobe beef all american burger & friend had the grass-fed beef burger. Both were greatly done, particularly loved the crispy bun it was served on. The fries & onion rings were very crispy, with moist center. Awesome ambience, great bar, great service. Definitely will go back & bring friends with me.
superbowl.
Does anyone know if they are having a super bowl event?? So Far the the only place in Downtown Culver City that is having an event is at Gyenari:
- Super Happy Hour from 1-8 in our lounge
- $10 super BBQ special!
- $2 Hite draft beer!
Game will be broadcast on plasma TV's in lounge and on our state of the art 100 inch screen in the dining room. BBQ, drink, and cheer for your team on Super Sunday!
Wednesday Nights. DJs spin indie-electro, dubstep and new music you would normally have to go to Hollywood to hear. Good looking crowd, tasty food, outdoor patio is dope.
