Steve Jobs would be proud! Mac service, done right.
by thunderbeast
I have been buying and servicing my computers at Mac Enthusiasts for 6 years, and I have nothing but nice things to say about this shop.
They are a small operation who have time for their customers and actually care that you get what you want out of your computing experience. Since they take the time to get to know your personal computing needs, they never waste your time or money on things you don't need or won't like.
I have consistently received honest, efficient service, and their employees have helped me get the most out of my aging machines without spending hundreds of dollars. When the Apple store "geniuses" were insistent that I couldn't run Photoshop effectively without getting a new machine, Mac Enthusiasts cleaned out my hard-drive, upgraded my RAM, and had me out the door editing my graphics for less than 1/10th of the price.
I have sent my family and friends here to consistently glowing reviews. They even (finally) convinced my dad to switch from his PC, something I had been working on for over 3 years, and helped him adjust to the new computing environment that he relies on to run his company. The employees were patient and kind, not condescending or arrogant, and helped him with everything he needed to make a seamless transition from the dark side. Furthermore, these guys (and gals) know their stuff; I guarantee you will leave the shop with more knowledge, ready to get more out of your Mac, than when you came in.
I give Mac Enthusiasts my strongest recommendation; I wouldn't trust anyone else with my computer.
- Pros: Knowledgeable staff, great service, honest people.
- Cons: Pico Ave.
Good Deal, Good People

I bought a used Mac Book Pro from them and it was exactly what I ordered and more. The internal components had been replaced and upgraded. The shell looked brand new.
If I need service it's nice knowing I have a place to go.
- Pros: Service, Used Pieces
- Cons: Parking
Great recommendations on what equipment to buy, and excellent system installation and repairs
by SlocumPuzzleFoundation
I have bought all of my Macs from Macenthusiasts ever since they opened their shop. And I have had them deliver and set up all of the equipment. I have used their Macs to write and publish more than a dozen books. They have provided outstanding recommendations on back up systems, color laser printers, external hard drives, etc. and as a result I have never lost any data in spite of crashes. Repairs have been done with the best expertise and professionalism. And they have "bent over backwards" to accommodate my urgent deadlines. They even let me use their own computers in their office to meet a deadline when I had an serious problem. They are by far the best at Mac sales and service in the Los Angeles region.
