Honest and efficient service – I found out about German Italian Motors while searching reviews for BMW repairs. I was fed up with the high cost of bringing my car into the dealer. Several years ago the sunroof of my BMW 528 stoped working. The dealer said it would cost approximately $2500 to fix. I decided not to fix it. When I found Gabriel and he did such a wonderful job on the scheduled service I asked him about the sunroof. Much to my surprise he was able to fix the roof, do all of the scheduled servicing and replace numerous hoses and the entire cost was under $1500!
I would never think of going to the dealer again
Best Place To Take Your German or Italian Car! – The (Car) Doctor is in! I found out about Gabriel and his shop by reading these very reviews on citysearch and I've never been happier with my car service. I took my car in a few years ago after having spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily at my local BMW dealership. I have always found Gabriel to be honest, trustworthy and consistent with his incredible service and reasonable prices! He is like a good doctor in that he takes his time to examine his patient (your car) and will provide you with a sound diagnosis as well as his cure. I will never go to another dealership as long as Gabriel is around. I am a loyal customer and cannot recommend him enough! A+++
Expert diagnosis, fast and excellent service – My husband has his Porsche serviced here and has always been satisfied. Recently within a week of each other both mine and my husband's cars had our "check engine" light activated. Gabriel and Enzo took car of my husband's car. When he heard I had a similar issue he squeezed me in and fixed it that same day. I had previously went to the local independent and they diagnosed the problem but told me I have to go to the dealer to have it fixed and incur a second charge for diagnosis. Cost at G.I. was cheaper, service better, and took less time. Gabriel is my hero.
STOP and take your vehicle to a different place!! NOT Trustworthy – I brought my BMW to inspect and repair the engine light and the person quoted me $1000, after a week
the engine light came on again. he told there were other things to repair that maybe the cause of the
problem. I trusted him again for the second time, this time it cost me $800. bottom line is the problem
was never resolved! he offered to take it to the dealership for further inspection ??? YES! believe it.
I should have done that myself in the first place..!!! avoid this place if you want to save you money
and avoid being scammed.
This is another vicious attack on our stellar reputation, which we have enjoyed for over 25 years serving West L.A. We invite the complainer to come to our shop with the invoices for a total of $1,800. We will refund the total amount. However we must warn you, because we have checked our records and there is NO record of having serviced a BMW with check engine light problem.
The best experience ever. – This is my 4th time coming in. My car needed engine mounts. It was under the dealer price by $200. Gabrielle stays late if you cannot get there by 5pm. He waited. Excellent service. He is a mechanic you can call your Family mechanic.
You Are In Good Hands With "Doctor" Gabriel – I could tell from the beginning that Gabriel was honest and could be trusted. He will listen to what you want . Regardless of whether you have a 1984 BMW or 2008 Mercedes , you can rely on this guy.
an honest mechanic, finally! – We have been taking our 2003 Audi A4 to Gabriel for a few years and have nothing but good things to say about our experience with him. Gabriel has always been honest and reliable. He always pays for our car rental and most importantly, has kept our car in great shape. Before we knew about Gabe we took our car to other mechanics and dealerships and paid small fortunes for bad work. Today, we don't trust our car to any one else. We travel across the city to get to Gabe's shop and are happy to do it- it is worth it!!
RUDE OWNER – LASTIME I ASKED FOR PRICE QUOTE PART AND LABOR FOR REPLACING MY CAR ALTERNATOR , THE OWNER SEEM SO RUDE AND DIDN'T WANT TO EXPLAINT WHAT THE TIME LABOR RATE.
I may have been rude on the phone, because I was under stress, therefore I kindly apologize. However I like to point out that we have the necessary software and all quotes are given in writing.
RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE – AWFUL customer service. I called in to get a price quote for labor on my car since I already had the parts that I needed. The man who answered the phone was very rude to me. I told him the parts that I needed changed and he kept on asking me why I had purchased those parts even though I had already explained to him that I had a mechanic from an auto shop run a diagnostic on my car. He insisted that he would have to run his own diagnostic on my car though I had already had that done. He also said that I would have to wait til Monday because even if I came in today (Saturday) he would not be able to get the parts for my car until Monday. (Someone wasn't listening because I said about three times in the conversation that I already had the parts). I just really did not appreciate how he spoke to me. He kept on questioning me in everything that I said even though I kept repeating that I had gotten all my information from a mechanic. It's not like I just randomly looked it up on the internet. Once he finally understood that I already had the two parts in my possession, he asked "If you already have the parts, then why don't you just change it yourself?!" Well...because I'm not a mechanic!!! I don't know if he was being sexist just because I'm a woman or what his deal is but I am sure as heck not patronizing this establishment and I hope that guy adjusts his attitude for the sake of his existing customers.
Obviously this review has been posted by a jealous competitor. Not only is it unrealistic but it also reeks of envy! Unfortunately I am unable to defend myself. All I have to say is, come to my place, see for yourself and find out while for over 25 years I have been successfully in business.
Good Service. Honest People. – I brought my BMW in and Gabriel was able to have it worked on that day. He was honest and didn't try to overcharge me or fix things that didn't need to be fixed.
