Affordable greasy spoon food that hits the spot. Patras is a deal when you are cuttting pennies. Low cost greasy spoon diner food that hits the spot. We like it and the fact that the food does not taste like cardboard McD's kinda food. Help can be kinda rude but thats okay you just order and pay with them so you don't need to tip for the rudness. The fried chicken plate is huge and a real bargain. My wife like the fancy whipped orange sodas so we all get something!

A good neighborhood joint. Patra's is one of those neighborhood burger joints that are dotted across the Southland. You can find one practically every few blocks. The community of Eagle Rock has at least 3...if you're counting Tommy's and excluding the chain fast food places. You know these places...their motto is...if it can be deep fried, tossed onto a flat grill or wrapped into a tortilla, we make it. We usually stop here when my husband is looking for a charbroiled burger. Me...I usually end up with a bean & cheese burrito. The service is usually fast and very friendly. It has its own little parking lot, but is situated in such a weird place that it's hard to get to sometimes.
