eaven Made Cakes and Treats that Are Worth a 60 Mile Drive - Even In Los Angeles Traffic!. Los Angeles Residents,

I have buying birthday and anniversary cakes as well as other fantastic goodies, which taste like they came from a bakery in heaven, from Angel Maid Bakery for many years now. I have always been pleasantly pleased beyond expectation each time! I highly recommend using them for any cake, pie, and other baked goods for any occasion. Not only are their products wonderful, but their customer service is outstanding! Truly Angels in the bakery word!

Editorial Review. On a nondescript stretch of Centinela in a random pocket of the Westside, lies on of L.A.'s best, and most low-key, Asian specialty bakeries. With both tasty baked goods like cookies and creme puffs and talented cake artists on staff--there's something for every sweet tooth.

Best cakes and pastries. Angel Maid is one of the best bakeries on the westside; my family and I have been going there for at least 5 years. The cakes are delicious, light, and the fruit is always fresh. The frosting is sweet without causing tooth decay (although they can make a buttercream frosting that satisfies even the most sweetest of sweet teeth). Also you must try their fruit tart, especially for those eaters whose tastes tend to shy away from the dessert trays. I have had over the years their danishes, muffins, fruit boat (which is heavenly puff pastry dusted in a light coating of sugar topped with a small dollop of whip cream and fresh berries). I can't say enough...you must try this nondescript, but exceptional bakery!

Yummy cakes. This bakery does a great job on cakes, especially mixed fruit. It has white cake, custard and mangoes, strawberries, banana, kiwi, and more. They also use a whipped cream frosting. Much better than most cakes which are too sweet. Their cakes taste fresh and delicious.

Delicious Mango Mousse!. The mango mousse cost $2.50, and it was so creamy with pieces of mango. The mousse was small, but it was the perfect size to share with a friend after lunch. I also appreciated that it wasn't overly sugary, as some other bakeries fill their cakes with sugar. I want to go back and try their other desserts. They all look so delicious!

The ladies working there were also friendly. They had a sign on some large, clean, stacked buckets that said "free," and my friend took all their buckets! The ladies told us that the buckets originally held eggs.
