Editorial Review for Paco's Tacos – by Sandy Masuo
In Short
This casual Mexican restaurant features a vast expanse of tables and lively interior festooned with crepe-paper streamers and festive fiesta decorations. Large fish tanks add even more color to the mix. Lunch hours are busy, but evenings find Paco's positively packed with a wide range of diners, from loners to family groups. Paco's is classic old-school L.A. Mexican--in addition to burritos and customary combo plates, there's a bevy of meat and seafood selections and fresh tortillas prepared before your very eyes.

For basic mexican, fun atmosphere and value, this can't be beat. But the tortillas everyone raves about are not great. More like indian style paratha than tortillas. To thick, too greasy and too flour/yeasty.
Pros: Portions, value, fun
Cons: Average food
