What Are Permanent CosmeticsPermanent cosmetics, also known as permanent makeup & micropigmentation, is the tattooing of pigment into the dermis or second layer of the skin for cosmetic purposes such as creating eyeliner, the look of eyebrows, & the appearance of lipcolor. Groups of tiny, solid needles are dipped in pigment & inserted millimeters into the skin to deposit pigment. The implanted pigment will heal into this layer of skin, & then becomes part of the skin.
Does It HurtThe sensation of pain varies between individuals & the sensitivity of the area chosen for the procedure. Topical anesthetics can be used to subdue the sensation of pain during the procedure, & are generally most effective once the skin is broken after the micropigmentation process begins. A doctor's anesthetic injection can reduce the pain experienced during a full lip color application.
Is It SafeLike any cosmetic procedure, cosmetic micropigmentation carries w/ it risks & complications that you ought to fully consider prior to proceeding. While it is unlikely that you would encounter any problems, it is important that you make an informed decision

EyelinerPermanent eyeliner is designed to suit the client's lifestyle, ranging from the minimum of an extremely natural lash-enhancement, to the more defined or dramatic line. A lash-enhancement is the placement of pigment in the lash bed only, to create the illusion of darker, longer lashes & a more contoured eye.
EyebrowsThe creation of micropigmented eyebrows is best to conceptualize as more of a process than a single procedure. Building layer upon layer of color over a few visits allows an accurate assessment of color to be made in consideration of the skin's response to the pigment. Using a hair-stroked, multi-depth approach creates the most seamless look which best integrates w/ the client's natural brow.
LipsPermanent lip color is an excellent choice for those women who continually wear their lipstick in the same color family, & for those who wish to add fullness, definition, & symmetry to their lip line.
