I have always loved their cupcakes and so when my birthday rolled around I thought I should splurge on myself and get the best. I went there and told them I wanted a custom cake made and he said ok what do u want on it. I just started saying stuff and it was just difficult because he didn’t give me any choices, like I didn’t know what types of frostings, fillings, nothing so I was just baffled by the way he just assumes people can just make up their own cake without knowing what they offer so I’d be able to choose more wisely. Anyway I figured since I loved their cupcakes to get a fruity filling and I thought it was going to be fresh fruit but it wasn’t it was like pie filling in the center and it was SO incredibly sweet that u just couldn’t eat the cake all it tasted was pure sugar and canned fruit filling. Considering almost every cupcake has that rich fudgy frosting, when I first saw my cake I noticed it was milk chocolate frosting and I wanted that same dark fudgy frosting instead. I felt like I was very rushed when ordering it even though I was the only one in there. He then asked how I wanted the cake decorated and I was like uhh wellllll what are my choices for goodness sake and he handed me this huge book of pictures from previous cakes they had made and I was just overwhelmed by all these crazy huge choices since my cake was their smallest cake for like 6 people. So I put it to the side and was like how about flowers? Anyway the worst part of this all was that the cake fell apart it literally collapsed and I felt like my cake was a complete disaster. All the pieces we cut were so ugly and no one could get like a real nice put together piece. Maybe if it tasted good I wouldn’t have been so angry but it didn’t. I was just so disappointed, just stick to their cupcakes unless you like extremely sweet jelly pie fillings in ur broken wobbly cake. Never in my life have I ever dealt with such a thing.

Pros: Cupcakes

Cons: They have a cabinet filled with like dirty sexual oriented stuff, WEIRD!!!!

The cupcakes were massive and moist and had a lot of inventive flavors. My absolute favorite was the Key Lime Cupcake, with key lime curd inside and lime frosting on top, it was just tart enough. Another favorite was the seasonal Pumpkin Spice, which tasted like pumpkin pie with cream cheese frosting. Their most popular selling flavors though are their Red Velvet with chocolate bits inside and their traditional vanilla Birthday Cake Cupcake. I didn't get to try the Chocolate Ecstasy, but was impressed with the gold splashes on the frosting made from melted edible gold. Silver flecks were also on their special Cherry Blossom. The store itself is fun and not haughty, but very West Hollywood with photos of stars and the cakes that were designed for them, which included Dolly Parton, Jenna Jameson, Rod Stewart, Cher, etc. The entrance meanwhile has an enticing sign that reads, "Diva's Welcome!" and leopard pink swirly stools are available for seating inside.

Pros: personable staff, inventive flavors and artistic designs

Cons: hard to find a parking spot

I have had several cakes done by them and each cake is more impressive. What ever idea I have in my head, they can put it on a cake. The cakes taste good, staff is great and cupcakes to die for.

Pros: Great Artwork, tasty treats, wonderful staff

Cons: Parking

Especially at this place. The regular sized cupcakes are big enough to share, although a messy undertaking. My favorite is defintely the red velvet. They are open pretty late, so you can have dinner next door at Jinpachi and then crusie over for dessert.

Pros: Yummy, nice people behind the counter, open late

Cons: A wee bit pricey

I love this place! They make special order cakes and cupcake dog treats! And the amazing assortment of (people) cupcakes are only exceeded by the great customer service! Check them out!

Pros: great product and amazing service

Cons: I live too far away to go there as often as I would like :)

I recently found this place while walking my dogs and have become scarily addicted to their cupcakes. What's worse - my dogs have become addicted to their "pupcakes." We're all going to end up in dessert rehab. The Chocolate Raspberry is going to be the death of me.

Pros: Great selections that are freakishly accomodating to my moods...

Cons: I can't stop going.

After reading all the rave reviews, I decided to fulfill my cupcake craving today and went to Cake and Art. I asked the server if the creative selections were made today, and he replied with a resounding, "yes." So I bought a red velvet and Smores to share. Yuck! The cupcakes were really dry and the cream cheese frosting was sweet and watery. You are better off saving your $3.25 and buying a dozen from Pavilions. Leda's are the best (moist, flavorful, savory icing). Sprinkles and Joans on Third are more moist than these.

Pros: Variety

Cons: Dry, Expensive, Dishonest
