Great car wash and detailing
by jericsmall at Citysearch
I take my Jeep Wrangler to the Santa Palm Car Wash fairly infrequently but always with satisfaction. They spend a ridiculously generous amount of time on each car. Detailing was reasonably priced and exceptional considering they had to deal with lots of hard water spots on the hood. While you're waiting you can wander down the street for some food or just hang out in the outdoor seating area with the TV (usually set to CNN). Typically very busy on weekends so best if you take your car during the day any weekday. Lots of cuteness to mingle with in your fellow customers. All-in-all a good wash at a fair price. (Don't forget to tip!)
Great Wash at a great PRICE!!!!!

We all hate washing SUV's. At least I do. I took my Durango to this place and they did a great job!!!! I had it done in the valley and paid twice as much for a horrible "detail", so they say. I took it here and they did the exact same thing with there 4 star service. Everyone was friendly and it's a great atmosphere while you wait. You could even print a coupon online and save more!!! I highly recommend this place.
- Pros: Service, convenient, value.
- Cons: None so far, I don't think they ever will be any.
Decent wash but a little expensive.

The location is great if you are in the area but be prepared to pay a little extra. But then doesn't pretty much everything cost a little more in this area. I also agree with the previous reviewer that the equipmnet seems a little dated. You can have lunch at the little stand next door while you wait which is nice.

Good wash, but archaic equipment
by davidsigep at Citysearch
This car wash is near my house. Convenient, and the workers do a great job. However, for some reason, they actually still have those old school machines that drag cloth flaps (i.e., scratch) across your car as the car rolls through it. I didn't even think car washes still used those. Also, they don't have the air guns to blow out water from the crevices of the car, so as soon as you roll off, your car spots again.
Aside from those weaknesses, they do a good job. I used to take my old car there because of the location, but until they get rid of those machine-driven cloth flaps, I won't be taking my new car.
They're also a little pricey in comparison to other more modern shops. The $16 package still won't get you tire dressing. Good job for older cars, but there are better places out there.
- Pros: polite, fast, workers do a good job
- Cons: old equipment, pricey
