For Whites Only
by JillRobertsSucks at Citysearch
I agree with cma117, but I will take it one step farther: Jill Roberts ( Beverly Hills) has good customer service: that is, if you are white. I went in there today (I'm Asian American if curious) with my mother. Neither was I nor my mother was greeted or asked if we needed help. As I sat on their Zebra-CurvesforWomen bench, ALL of the sales girls tried their best NOT to interact with us despite their having to move past me to the back room more than several times. One of the girls was especially rude since she had to move past me. Instead of saying "excuse me," she just walked over my legs as if it were a pothole. Considering that there were more than seven salesgirls/women in a 700 square feet area and they had greeted all their other customers with a saccarhin-sweet "HELLO!" I would say that their collective behavior was more than mere concidence.
Despite their selection ( nothing unusual that you wouldn't find at a $15 store) and sales, I would say I left Jill Roberts with a bad taste in my mouth. Therefore, for any customer who is interested in their stuff. I say, 1) Try on their clothing off the racks 2) Memorize the label and description and size 3) Come home, and then do a search on ebay. I say their their days in Beverly Hills are numbered.

i completely disagree, i love everything about the store, from the girls that work there to the hard to find lines. everytime i go in people are helpful and go out of their way to find what i need.
Not even worth the trip...

Honestly, everything they have at this boutique they have at every other store around LA (i.e. Ron Herman, Maxfield's, Lisa Kline, etc.) without the terrible attitudes of the sales staff. I've lived in Los Angeles my entire life and I am more than used to the occasional rude sales person. However, the attitudes of the sales girls at Jill Roberts are absolutely ridiculous considering they cannot be more than 12 years old. The store carries some cute lines but not cute enough to justify this type of treatment. Will definitely NOT RETURN.
- Pros: none
- Cons: Sales people
Lively and colorful designer boutique caters to hip Beverly shoppers desiring more then the latest trend.

In Short
In a day and age when boutiques turn over as quickly as the fashions they sell, this Beverly Hills spot has redefined boutique fashion by mixing the latest styles with timeless cloths. Everything is chic, from simple washed-out T-shirts to cocktail dresses and baby clothes. With designers like Michael Kors, Theory, Claudie Pierlot and Petit Batean, expect to pay big bucks.
