This little cafe in the heart of Beverly Hills is a good stop for a good coffee and for listening to all those Italians talking away...Very inn, and nice atmosphere.

The best low cost italian around. No decor, and the location has no decor, but the food serves up plenty of taste and downhome comfort food. The location is great.
exquisite food, great atmosphere, excellent service

The food, service, ambiance were all excellent. The selection of meals, wines and deserts as well as its prime location makes it for a perfect date place. The location in the Rodeo Drive district makes for an incredible view, especially from where I was sitting. It can be a very romantic place, but it can also be a place for a large party or with kids
- Pros: location very central, excellent food, ambiance, service, with great company-it is a great experience
- Cons: none

After sipping our less than impressive drinks, a patron at the table next to us started smoking while INDOORS. We requested 3 times that the manager ask the patron to stop smoking. Instead, Caffe Roma opened a window. Not only were we cold, but still sitting in cigar smoke. The patron continued to smoke and the manager denied smelling any smoke. We left the restaurant, but not before requesting that our 2 drinks be covered. Caffe Roma refused, still claiming that he did not smell smoke. Apparently, the restaurant was more interested in satisfying the smoking patron and his large party than in providing a breathable environment for all (or following the law).
- Pros: ??
- Cons: Very poor service. Almost empty.
New ownership and great Italian food!!

I just had dinner at Caffe Roma and it was tantalizing my taste buds. I ordered crudaiola, whole branzino and it was incredible. I was wanting to try Caffe Roma because of the NEW ownership. Wow!!! It was the best Italian food I have ever had. The service was perfect and the management was very professional. I just came back from Italy and the food and courtyard reminded me of my trip. I plan to book my 40th. B-day party in the private wine room. The chef is nice!!! Chef Piero can create a special menu for my party. I can't believe the former chef of Toscana is the owner and chef of Caffe Roma. I will have lunch with friends Friday and try other specials. I love the food and the homemade crepes with Nutella for dessert. Great Restaurant!!!!
- Pros: The food was amazing.
- Cons: The ladies restroom is violet & the pizza area.
Superb food wonderful chef and great service

This place is now owned by the itaian restuarant biz guru Ago who used to own Toscanna in Brentwood and his chef and part owner is also the previous chef from Toscanna. Piero is an excellend chef and the food at Cafe Roma reflects this. I LOVE the thin crust pizza. You have to try it. Very nice patio area, good wine selection, very reasonable prices and very polite and nice staff. Kid and family friendly, good for big groups and for people watching. They have a DJ on the weekends who plays great music with an area for dancing. I love this place and go often with my girlfriends and with my family for dinner or drinks. Kudos to Ago and Piero ! Highly recommended.
- Pros: Great food/cancing on weekends/kid friendly
- Cons: none

I highly recommend Caffe Roma to anyone who loves Italian food! The ambiance and friendliness is beyond wonderful and the food is exceptional. Two Italians seemed to be everywhere at once seeing to our service, nicely dressed and ready to serve. My party ate outside in the patio area and were delighted to find Gov. Arnold among the happy quests. We were able to meet the chef, Pierro T and thank him for the wonderful food and dining experience. So friendly and nice and definetly the handsome Italian! MM MM MMMMMMMMM delicioso!! The next time we come I'm going inside for live entertainment and drinks. BIG THUMBS UP!!
- Pros: Large outdoor patio dining as well as indoor tables, entertainment and bar..ex. service and food
- Cons: ZIP, Zero, everything was perfect
WHY IS IT EMPTY??

i find this restaurant precious because the outside seatting...inside though, some walls are bare and there are blemishes on the ceiling and some walls..?
the food hopefully cooked by an italian chef! i only had a salad..the weather was too hot to eat more..and it was..good..
why isn't this place crowded all the time as others places around there are? mmh maybe a visit by Chef Ramsey is in order? i see that bad review, and THAT might be a reason, 1 out of 5..that's a percentage! i don't drink so i wouldn't know about that...but atittude? a BAD problem in Beverly Hills! i saw a maitre d at Mastro's SMUG SMUG! awful! AND hostesses beeing badly dressed and wearing cheap shoes and NOT looking pretty..what's THAT! politically correct days? PLEASE bring back pretty classy hostesses!
- Pros: location
- Cons: no costumers

This place is hidden from view on Canon Drive, but there were surprisingly a lot of people when my boss and I came in for a late lunch. My boss was telling me how Arnold Schwarzennager always ate here, and coincidently he was there with Maria Shriver! We sat next to their table outside on the patio. I ordered the Tortellini, and it was pretty good. I really liked the creamy sauce. The bread they serve is also great. The pasta dishes range from $11-$18 so this restaurant is not too expensive compared to the others in Rodeo. The owner always came by to talk to us. He had a heavy Italian accent so I am guessing that this is a family-owned, authentic Italian restaurant.
- Pros: Good Proportions, Ambience, Price
