I really enjoyed my evening at Spago. We sat in the courtyard area outside which had a very charming, relaxed atmosphere. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The highlight though, was the amazing food! I started with some raw oysters that came with a tasty ginger sauce, and then had the venison. The venison was beautifully presented and came with roasted apple and berries, and a side of sweet potato sheppard's pie. My friends also loved their meals - the Thai scallops and roasted chicken with truffles. We had the "kaiserschmarren" for dessert, which is a souffle-like dish with roasted strawberries. Even though we were stuffed, we finished every last morsel of dessert. Well worth the price of admission!
