I love going to Mickey Fine's. I love the food, breakfast and lunch are awesome. The candy and snack area is the best. I love English candy and they have it there. Also the service is fast and excellent. Jeff the owner is a STAND-UP guy who really and truly cares about you and your health. It is what the neighborhood pharmacies should be about. They are quick to fill perscriptions and deliver too.

FAST SERVICE

I have lived in the West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills Area a long time, However I have never used Mickey Fine. I just did, and there great and fast. I have to wait forever at CVS, its a great place makes me think of when i was a kid.

Great Customer service

I just used Mickey Fine for the first time, after moving here from out of town. I was worried that with my insurance, prescriptions and doctors that a transfer from the pharmacy I've been using would be difficult. However it was not. The people there are great. Its very nice to deal with a small pharmacy as apposed to the big chains. I appreciate their help and highly reccomend them. They not only are a pharmacy but also have a bit of everything, gifts, toys, skin care and that cute soda fountain in the back.

Worst customer service

I have called Mickey Fine Pharmacy three times to inquire about filling a prescription for Tincture of Opium. Apparently this medication is very dificult to fill and only certain pharmacies will do it. After being refered to Mickey Fine Pharmacy by a friend, I called to verify if they did. All three times the pharmacists were rude, unwilling to give out the information unless they saw the prescription. I live in Pasadena, and I did not want to spend my time and precious gas to find they couldn't do it. I gave them all the information on the prescription, but, still they refused to tell me if they could fill it unless they saw the prescription. I expressed to the pharmacist my having to drive out of out. The female pharmacist (Sahari) told me then to start looking up in the yellow pages. I really don't understand what kind of Customer Service that is.

Rude and hurried on the phone

Very poor customer service - rude, hurried. I just called to verify whether they take my new insurance and got the runaround. It switched over last month and at the time I thought they didn't take it and I ended up paying full price for prescriptions. Now that they confirmed that they do take it they won't apply to my insurance company for a refund, even though it's been less than 30 days.

The Integrity of Mickey Fine Pharmacy and Grill

A posting appeared on September 20th, 2006 regarding a non refundable medication. The posting stated that Mickey Fine Pharmacy refused to refund a medication the FDA found to cause cancer. This posting conveniently eliminated factual information.

The medication that was requested to be refunded was a prescription medication prescribed by a doctor, to be used under a doctor's supervision. It is unlawful to refund a prescribed medication. On August 29th, 2006, the FDA proposed a ban on the OVER-THE-COUNTER sale of this medication, which would have been refundable.

It is unfortunate that this customer did not portray the situation accurately. Mickey Fine Pharmacy strictly abides by all federal and state laws and FDA findings. To have reused this customer's prescribed medication would have been in violation of these laws.

MICKEY FINE PHARMACY PRIDES ITSELF ON SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SUPERIOR SERVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. I AM PLEASED TO BE A CUSTOMER OF A PHARMACY THAT IS INTERESTED IN THE WELFARE OF THEIR PATRONS RATHER THAN SATISFYING ONE CUSTOMER BY TURNING A BLIND EYE TO THE LAW. THIS TYPE OF INTEGRITY IS RARE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STELLAR AND I FEEL MY WELL BEING IS SAFEGUARDED BY THEIR SUPERIOR ETHICS.

Medications that was found to cause cancer

Mickey Fine Pharmacy, surprising considering their reputation, refuses to accept returns for unused medication that has been found by the FDA to cause cancer and other physical ailments. They refused to refund money or even show concern for FDA findings and alerts. Very disappointing and disconcerting that a pharmacy would have such a disregard for the FDA and a medical alert. And more importantly for the health and well being of the patient. It's rather astonishing.

The pharmacist, Sam, is extremely knowledgeable as well as being kind and honest. He was very sensitive and non-judgemental about my questions and his staff was equally as pleasant.

The pharmacist Sam is the Man. He's wonderful. He cares. He's smart and he remembers you months later. You asks him a question and he's on it. He calls you back and gives you all the time in the world. Sometimes gives you more info that your doctor.

The service and selection at Mickey Fine is terrific! In this age of poor customer service especially at chain pharmacies, this independent pharmacy is a treasure!
