Nightmare Service, Great Products

I went to Thibiant for years and have loved using their organic product line, but I have never been treated ruder in my life than by their receptionist.

It's too bad that one person can ruin an experience, but Valerie did it for me. I am really going to have to think hard about whether putting up with that is worth continuing to use Thibiant or just going to Kinara where I know I'll get high quality service and products.

I would like to share with everybody that I had a great experience at Ida Thibiant spa having my waxing with Eve.

It was very professionally done, completely painless and fast.

BEST WAXING TREATMENT EVER!!!!!

When I first moved to Los Angeles, I spent so much time looking for a great bikini wax. I went everywhere!! I was referred to Eve and I haven't gone to anyone else since. I'm using Eve's services for more than 5 years. She is highly professional, accurate, fast, friendly, makes the experience painless and pleasant. I can't say enough nice things about her and the quality of her treatments. She has a warm personality and great sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease. I would definitely recommend her to any first-timers... you are in great hands!!

Best Collagen Facial

I have been going to Faye at Thibiant for a few years now. I get the collagen facial and love, love, love the heat masque that is applied during this treatment. Faye is fantastic and always knows what to apply to my face when it is acting up. And she is always pleasant to to talk to. The front desk staff offer great product knowledge when I am purchasing skin care for everyday use. I highly recommend this spa to everyone.

Best facial ever

I was referred to Aida Thibiant?s by a co-worker, I was looking for a great place to get a facial, I was a little nervous because my skin is very sensitive but it turned out to be the most soothing and addictive experience ever, I felt so pampered and so relaxed when I left. My skin was glowing and I got lots of compliments from people about how good my skin looked for days. I felt I got the best facial I've ever had.

I will definitely return for my next facial soon.

Horrible Facials

I got 5-6 pineapple enzyme facials here to help even out my skin--and i definitely say it is not worth it!!! I spent a ton of money with nothing in return. In fact, the facialist was so aggressive that she gave me new scars on my face that I now have to wait out to get rid of. Instead of making my skin better, she made it worse. Absolutely useless--definitely do not recommend!!!

I got a gift certificate here, and thought I'd be brave and get the facial instead of a massage first. I see Brigette at Massage Therapy Center for facials every 2 weeks, so I figured I should see what else was out there. I had a facial with a well reputed facialist at Thibiant, and it wasn't half as effective or enjoyable as I am used to. I was pitched products the entire time, though I expressed that I already had a program I was very pleased with, and just wanted to enjoy my facial. It had been a mere 2 weeks since I had a peel, but she insisted I needed another one by her, so I got it, and my skin was flushed and itchy for days, and never had a glow (unless you count "red" as a glow). I will give her credit for giving me a very lengthy facial massage, since I expressed a desire to relax, though it was unfortunately peppered with suggestions of products I should buy on my way out. I'm used to my facialist actually caring what problems I want to address in my skin, and giving suggestions that truly help.

Not an enjoying experience!!!

I love going to different spas, but this spa was very dissapointing. I've been recommended to go there by a friend and after reading all the Citysearch reviews I was sold!.. The dressing room was small....the only ammenity they have is a steam room...my was lady was rude and was not gentle and now I have bruises. This place is extremely outdated!!! BTW they pressure you to buy products!!!

Don't go here for a facial!

I am a spa junkie, and I had heard good things about Thibiant. I went with a girlfriend of mine to get their papaya enzyme facial (or something similar to that name) and not only did I break out in a horrific rash that ruined my memorial day weekend, but my girlfriend's face was beet red for more than 3 days after. I called to complain and find out what was in the products... the manager was only slightly helpful.

Plus the woman who did my facial was somewhat rude, asking if this was my first facial and if I was using a gift certificate to pay?! Geez, implying much? I will not be taking my business here again.

Incrediable Manicure & Pedicure

I read about the Tahitian pedicure and decided I was due. The pedicure was amazing and Sanna was so gentle with my feet. They have a great selection of OPI and Essie polishes. I started looking at my nails and decided I wanted a manicure since my feet looked so great. We started chatting with some of the other customers and it was like you were at your best friends house. When my friend and I were walking out the door she said "I love this place because the service was excellent and everyone was so friendly."
