Baby back ribs served with signature barbecue sauces are the hallmarks of this popular national chain.
by Contributor at Citysearch
In Short
This award-winning restaurant chain is known primarily for its baby back ribs, but through the 30-plus years since its flagship location opened in North Miami, the family-friendly menu has expanded to include barbequed chicken, char-grilled steaks, burgers, pasta, seafood and salads. All ribs are served with one of the accompanying sauces (Original, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Red Hots, or Honey-Chipotle), and two sides like coleslaw, fries, or a baked potato.
Bland chain food

Sorry, I just don't get what all the fuss is about. This place is extremely average -- food, ambience, service are all lacking. I mean, if you're really Jonesing for ribs and can't find a good local joint, I guess this will get your fix -- but I'd keep it as a last resort.
Extraordinarily Bad Service

While no one can fault the food, the service is so, unfortunately poor, that you take your sanity into your hands when you go there. I waited 40 minutes for a take-out dinner for two and was given one dinner and two extra sides. While I was there, two customers yelled at the hostess because they had not seen a waiter in an hour. I noticed one of the waiters reading a newspaper in a side room. Several couples stormed out, muttering. Too bad, because the ribs ARE good.
- Pros: good ribs, good sides
- Cons: small portions, unfortunate service, exorbitant parking
The babyback ribs!
by sunflowers98 at Citysearch
The babyback ribs are the only thing I've had here, so I can only speak to them....The ribs were really good. The meat fell off the bone. I asked for their spicy red hot bbq sause and that was good as well.
- Pros: babyback ribs
- Cons: chain restaurant, ambience
Horrible

I havent been to too many Restaurants in my day. Ive been deprived and pennyless. But I finally got "treated" to some Tony Roma's and my hopes were high. After one bite of below par prison esque food and bottom dollar service my hopes, my dreams, and most importantly my taste buds hit the floor. The ribs were not tantalizing. I had better ribs from Albertsons pantry for crying out loud! The only think that was decent was the bread and the beer. And how hard would it be to mess that up?!? The clam chowder tasted so clammy I felt like I was at the beach. I'll never go back here. To top it all off..The service was utterly horrific! Oh yea and forgot to mention...When we walked in we were seated at a 2x2 foot table rather than a booth...Even though they're were plenty available
