SIMPLE & CHEAP

There was times where I'm not gonna lie when this theatre did'nt have a good name for its self it had it's lows but now it's coming back up just like every buisness dose. Before their bad times its was consitered one of the nicest theatres in the Highland Park area actually it is the only one. It's stood the test of time. Even though there is not that many choices to chose from only three well at least you dont have to have an argument about what movie you are going to see since there is only three movies th chose from. There is some interesting looking characters that work there but hey at least they have a job not like other people that feed off their parents. Well all I can say is give this historic theatre another chance..

• Pros: Easy parking, plenty of things around the theatre
• Cons: Needs more of a selection

it is our only theater

My family and I go to this theater rather often. Only five years ago we wouldn't set foot in there, but it has improved. It is cleaner, it doesn't stink anymore, and people behave much better. It is a family theater, and even though it is not the greatest looking theater, it is nice. We like it because it is in the neighborhood and we want to support our local businesses.

great cheap theater

some people think this place is to rough but those days are long gone. First run movies on the cheap 3$ tue and wed 4$matenee every day, oddball staff and an overall casual lie back sort of place, like a nice dive bar broken in just right. this place used to be one of the great L.A. movie halls with balcony seating and the works. It was turned into a tripple plex when the neighborhood went down but the hood is lookin good these days so come and enjoy this comfy little dump and feel free to sneek a flask or some beers in oh yeah and they have mettal slug for all youneo geo fans.

Dont go here!

Worst Movie Theater You'll ever go to. The Bathrooms are unsanitary, Gang Members clog up the theater, half of the people dont shut up during the film, and I've heared stories of couples having full blown sex in the theater. The screen is also small as is the theater in general. Its dirty too!!! It's so dirty the cockroaches ride dirtbikes and the rats ride dunebuggies!!! Please do me and yourself a favor and don't go to this place! You may not come out alive!!!!!!!!!!
