- Pros: Pool
- Cons: Difficult getting in
Horrible!!! Not worth the attitude!
by yodblg
So many other better places in L.A. where you don't get the attitude and disrespect.
We called and emailed (a ridiculous lengthy email that they requested) a week in advance for 7 people with bottle service (2 guys & 5 hot girls). They never called or emailed back. We went by the door and they wouldn't let us in even though the place was practically empty.
We are in the hospitality business and would never treat customers like that. We went down the street and got right in a great place and spent $800 on bottle service and had a great time. This place has no idea how to treat people, and even if you did get in, it's not worth it!
Attitudes! Expensive! Tons of better places!!!!
DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Cons: Attitudes! Terrible service! No respect!!!

Pretty/Pretentious
by SophiaNicole
I?m a little torn with this place. It?s definitely beautiful and has great views, but I felt like the crowd was a little pretentious. The staff was nice enough and my drinks were delicious, though a little pricey!
- Pros: Good Drinks, So Pretty
- Cons: pretentious crowd
Skybar

Like any other place in Hollywood, their drinks are way over priced. The the ambiance and the decor is just gorgeous! The outside setting has a great view because it's on a hill...you can see the lights of LA! Great place to go with friends!
And they said it wouldn't last: The Mondrian's famed rooftop bar is still the Sunset Strip's reigning velvet-rope institution.

In Short
A must-see on every trendy tourist's to-do list, this rooftop bar is still able to keep 'em coming (and waiting in line) after all these years. To go with the recent rehaul of the Mondrian hotel (including newly furnished rooms, a brand new lobby bar by the name of ADCB and an updated Asia de Cuba), the ivy-covered patio still offers some of the best views--and people-watching--in town. The swishy yet simple open-air thatched hut has been updated with cushy gold and yellow furnishings (handmade in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico), while the teak-lined deck and pool is equipped for a DJ booth to literally stand on water. Getting past the bouncer is still hit or miss, but hey, it wouldn't be the City of Angels without those devilish VIP velvet-rope games.
