I stay at the Omni each time I'm in LA for business. I'm a "Select Guest" and the extra benefits this program offers are outstanding (priority check-in, late check-out, complimentary beverages and newspaper, turndown service). The staff even remembers me each time I come back and knows that I like extra pilows in my room! Great value too! Great location - close to Downtown business offices.
Best Hotel Downtown

I stayed here this past weekend for the USC/Cal game at less than $100 through hotwire, and it was absolutely perfect! Great location... you just have to know that downtown is NOT a party spot on the weekends. The room was large and comfortable, and the service here is excellent! Definitely worth its 4-star rating.
Beware the $26 for valet per day... we parked on the lot on Olive between 1st and 2nd for $6 instead. Just know that it's an open parking lot, so your car isn't guarded 24/7 and there's no In-n-out priveleges. We saved a lot of money though!
- Pros: Price, Ambience, Service
- Cons: Expensive Valet Parking, Nothing nearby

Love this hotel, stay there a minimum of 25 times a year, great location, service and amenities. I walk to my office each day stop by their new restaurant & bar for drinks and listen to the great music. I have stayed in most of the hotels downtown and they are OK but the Omni is the best.
- Pros: Location, Service, Employees

Stayed here for a business trip and if my business meetings were not downtown, I would've definitely stayed in a different part of LA (downtown is DEAD). The hotel is nice enough: large, clean rooms, well-appointed baths, good number of conference and meeting rooms. The only complaints I have: (1) the temperature was WAY too cold in the conference rooms and hallways and (2) service by the catering group was spotty at best buring our catered meals. I always had to go hunt someone down to get a cup of coffee or clear my plate. For less money, you can get a much more hip, though spartan, room at the nearby hotel, The Standard, with its trendy rooftop bar. Omni is a good choice, though, if you're looking for a more traditional hotel.
