The food here was extraordinary! I love game foods, and found rabbit on the menu so ordered that. It was lovely! We noticed an older woman struggling to read the menu at a table next to us and the waiter came to her with a tray of 5 different sets of reading glasses!! Can you believe that?! One drawback: I love champagne and they only offer three by the glass: One at $12, one at $21, and one at $29. I ordered the $12 glass from Arizona which was awful so I sent it back, then ordered the $29 glass from France which was a little better, but still not clean and light and dry, as I prefer. This place still gets 4 stars from me -- it's great.
Pros: View of Bellagio fountains if you sit on the glass, great service
Cons: Oddly, below-par champagne by the glass

I was there with my husband and our friend for lunch on our last day in Vegas! As we came out of the elevator, I was amazed by the view, it was incredible! As we sat down and got our drinks, we sampled cheese puffs and parmesean flan from the chef which was divine. I wound up ordering a checkerboard finger sandwiches, my husband got parmesean crusted chix pallaird with a lobster bisque and our friend ordered an oceanside seafood salad. All of our entrees were delicious!!! They had generous portions and my dish was creative, tasty and simply amazing! It's a bit pricey, but for the succulent food, glorious view and the senusal ambiance, it was definately worth it. I can't wait to go back!!!

We love going to this place for the views and the relaxed settings. The staff is very helpful. The wine selection is acceptable and they offer a prix fixe menu with wine pairing. Make sure to plan enough time, you will feel very relaxed when dining here.
Pros: Great views and good food and service

I ate at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (ETR) at on 12/26/07, after arriving in town that same day. I did not think I would need a reservation, as I came to Las Vegas on 12/26/06, staying for 3 nights and never needing a dinner reservation as all of the restaurants I saw were half empty. For some reason this year, Vegas was very crowded immediately after Christmas, so I called ahead for a reservation and was told the earliest they could accomodate me was 9 p.m. They also required a credit card number to hold the reservation, which was a new practice to me, even though I have dined at many high end restaurants in Vegas over the years. Before leaving for Las Vegas, I had perused the online menu at ETR and was leaning toward Beef Wellington as my entree. After being seated, however, our waiter (who has been with ETR since its 1999 opening) suggested the chef's tasting menu. He promised that we would not leave hungry, citing other chef's tasting menus around town that left the customer both hungry and lighter in the wallet. I was initially put off by the $98 per person price, but realized I would probably spend that much for the wellington ($54) and its accompanying a la carte starters and sides. My guests and I all elected for the 7 course tasting menu, which consisted of food portions that got bigger with each course. Remembering the details of each course is difficult, but they included a sampler of seafood, a celery soup, a salad, a filet of sturgeon, venison loins, and a chocolate souffle for dessert. When we got done, were so full that we could barely walk out of the restaurant. On a different note, I read in a previous review how expensive the alcohol was, so none of us ordered any. My only dislike was the incessant amount of flash photography (everyone wants their group pictures taken there) in such a dark setting. But on a culinary level, the food was excellent, gave a great sampling of the tastes of the restaurant, and well worth the $98 per person.
Pros: Excellent food, great view of Bellagio's fountains
Cons: Too much flash photography from other tables was a distraction

This note is for expressing how disappointed I am with the service that I received in the restaurant, I appear with my girlfriend to have dinner on December 31th at night. Hoping that this moment will be spectacular and inclusively so excited to pop up the question. But unfortunately my girlfriend found a large piece of plastic in its main plate, at that time I felt that everything is going bad, so I decided not to make the question and to hope that the night improves. Honestly I did not expect that something like that happen, not in a restaurant of its category, not when you pay $600.00. I was trying to impress my girlfriend, but unfortunately everything went bad. Finally the waiter just change the plate, but didn't offe anything else, for example if you go to an average restaurant or may be a chain restaurant, if something like that happen, they would offer you the plate for free or may be offer you some drinks, or something else.
Pros: views
Cons: Bad customer service

Very cool atmosphere outside and inside, albeit a bit noisy because the tables are close. The window wall has stunning views of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains, especially at night. Made reservations months ago and they were promptly honored. But, that's about the best I can give for this restaurant. I know it's Vegas. But $14.95 for one ordinary Tanquray & Tonic? I got the exact same drink in an identical glass in the casino downstairs for $8.50 -- free when I was playing the slots. $44.00 for 5oz of filet mignon; $46.00 for a 7oz bone-in Ribeye? And that's just the meat. $6.00 for a single portion of potatoes and mushrooms… each. So… two people, one shared appetizer, two dinners from the menu, two sides, one shared dessert, no drinks of any kind -- $144.00. Sorry, go to Del Frisco’s or Charlie Palmer’s Steakhouse. Oh, and another thing, the elegance of the restaurant and black tie staff is lost because they don’t enforce a dress code. Come on, jeans and t-shirts during dinner? Guys in tank tops at the bar? This seriously diminishes the experience.
Pros: View of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains is excellent; Baked to order desserts.
Cons: Value. Way overpriced. Tables are close, can be noisy.

I was looking forward to having a nice meal and wine/champagne at dinner. We had reservations and arrived on time, but had to sit and wait 10 minutes for our table to be cleaned (I let it go, I know things aren't always perfect) But what really bothered me was the older gentleman that was our waiter. We may be in our early 20's but we are classier than most older diners I often see, and typically tip 20%!!! I don't know what this gentleman's problem was, but I had to ASK for the wine list and when I said I needed another minute to look it over (and set it down) HE JUST TOOK IT! He was rude to us all dinner (blatantly paying more attention to older patrons) Needless to say, good food (same quality you get at any quality steak house) but rude, prejudice service.

First let me disagree (politely) with the last review...my wife and I both had the Filet Mignon (with the porcini mushroom butter) and the size of the filet was outstanding!! They were cooked perfectly also. We had two sides, the Pommes Anna and the mushrooms...both done perfectly (although we should have ordered 2 of the potato sides)....I started with the bleu cheese souffle, simply warm and wonderful with superb flavor. This is an excellent starter for your pallet if you are moving into a great steak as the entree. And, of course, saved room for the desert....the chocolate souffle....superb. The service was attentive and extremely friendly....no attitude at all. I do have to make a special mention here concerning the sommelier. Wine Spectator magazine should get a hold of her and get her opinions on wines....I told her what I liked; but did not want to pay $500 for a bottle....and she came up with one of the most outstanding Californian blends from Paso Robles (my favorite city in Cal. for wine) that I have ever had....it would strongly rival a 1985 Silver Oak or a Caymus....yet it was young...simply amazing...and the price, for what I was drinking, was perfect. If you are going to have a bottle of wine, please, regardless of how much you think that you know, please have this amazing sommelier (sorry I did not get her name) visit your table. Oh, and yes, even with the construction...those window tables are lovely.

Went here on Thursday night 7/12 for dinner. Beautiful view of the Bellagio fountain dancing and the sun setting. Unfortunately, next door to the Bellagio there's construction being done...big cranes in the sky and half erected buildings spoiled the view for me. The service was good but for a more upscale restaurant waiter wasn't exactly johnny-on-the-spot, guess he figured we'd want time to take in the view which wasn't much as i mentioned above. Started with the White Almond Dusted Sea Scallops, Potato Galette (2pcs) - scallops were cooked well, tasty with the potato. I've had better but i'd order these again. I had the Roasted Rack-of-Lamb - delicious, cooked perfectly, good portion. BF ordered the Filot Mignon - really good but not the best plus the portion was small. As an accompaniments we got the mashed potatoes- excellent, ate that all up. For a 'romantic' meal/special occassion, definitely worth going for the experience and the view but other than that i don't think i'll be back for awhile.
Pros: Good food, View of the strip, Experience
Cons: Pricey, view of nearby construction

My boyfriend took me here for valentines day this past february and it was the most incredible restaurant I've ever been to (and I live in Chicago...). I recommend everything we did - get a table by the window on the side of the bellagio fountains if you want a gorgeous romantic experience (ask when making a reservation). We got the tasting menu - FANTASTIC - yes its a lot of money, but more than worth every cent. The flavors in that menu are so diverse, from foie gras to halibut to veal to asparagus souffle and dessert. And since we're going all out here - you would be doing yourself an injustice if you didn't speak to the sommelier there to recommend wine pairings for the beginning and end of the meal (I would recomment starting with crisp whites and switching to reds as the flavors shift from lighter ones to more bold meats). They were more than willing to talk to us on end with recommendations. And it surprised me - no haughtiness here - they didn't go straight to recommending the most expensive thing (which is a red flag for me about how real the recommendation is). Dress up, go all out, this is THE place for a special occasion and long night of romance. If you're counting your quarters - don't go here.
Pros: Food, wine, view, atmosphere are unmatched
Cons: Be prepared to unleash your wallet (but its worth it!)
