I recently heard that this park will be going through some major changes in the next few years. Thank goodness! This park has so much potential and does have some decent e-ticket rides such as the Tower of Terror and Soarin over California. The biggest issue I had was that a lot of the attractions were un-original and uninspired. What sets Disneyland apart from other theme parks is the theming, originality and innovation in their attractions. Those elements are not in the majority of the attractions at DCA. Let's hope the changes they have planned will make DCA reach it's true potential as a Disney theme park.

Pros: There are changes coming

Cons: We have to wait for them

Aside from the fact that I work for the company and have free access to both parks, California Adventure has been growing on me as of late. I've been here many times over the summer, and while the main park will always hold my favor, I've come to appreciate what's available in CA. First off, California Screamin' is a blast, and actually goes upside down! Soarin' over California is relaxing and fun, and the Aladdin stage musical is cute and very well done. I wasn't such a big fan of Tower of Terror but I don't like sudden drops. The Muppets 3D Adventure is cute. I think the main draw for me is the Santa Cruz-ish Boardwalk. Having been to the real Boardwalk, I'm almost embarassed to say I prefer the one here. It's cleaner at least. But the main draw for me has to be the Ferris Wheel. Ask for a locked-off cab vs. the rolling one for a romantic experience at dusk. The one major drawback here is that they close at 9pm.

Pros: More adult than Disneyland

Cons: closes earlier than Disneyland

I loved this theme park. it was so freakin awesome and i loved every minute of it! I would go there every day, but then i would get sick of it, as with any other theme park. It was nice to have two parks right next to each other, also. I reccomend going early in the morning or around lunch time. that is the best time to go.

Pros: Great Rides, fun shows, nice parade

Cons: nothing

Went on Sat May 20th. My second time there. First time was opening week and I was very disappointed in the rides. Went to ride Tower of Terror and that ride is the best in the park. Saw Aladdin show at the Hyperion Theater and was fantastic. The actor who played the Genie was almost as good as Robin Williams. He made the show. That was the highlight of the day. At the end of the day, we were saying we should have went to Magic Mountain.

I really enjoyed going to DCA. It really was fun and the memories are definitely perpetual. The Roller Coaster was such a thrill and quite enjoying. We went on twice before noticing that the time had passed by quickly. The water ride is quite thrilling and frankly a blast. The Electric Parade was priceless. The 3-D Movies were really exhilarating & humorous at the same time. It was definitely an experience and definitely something I'll remember for a long time. DCA is a true promiser. They DO come through! Great for the young ones. It's definitely a good idea to go during the week and not the weekend because of the crowd.

Pros: Thrilling Rides, Fun Times, Great Family Outing

Cons: Pricing, Operating Hours, Long Weekend Lines

Yes,I am a season passholder, and no,I don't do pin trading. To those who gave bad reviews-you don't know what you're talking about. This park has tons to do-Soarin',Screamin',Muppets 3D, a Bug's Land,The Pier,Golden Dreams, the Hyperion Theatre,Millionare Play-It,River Rapids, and they even have a huge forest play area for the smallest ones. The food is fantastic- and you can split things to make it cheaper. Kids are cheap at $2-$4 per meal. There are some really great reastaurants- likeStoryteller's cafe in the DCA Hotel.Theres lots more to come in thefuture- it wasn't supposed to be another disneyland and I'm glad it isn't.As far as admission goes- $43 is a little steep for one park, but then again so is $45 for Disneyland!!Buy the season pass- you only have to go 4 times per year for it to pay for itself. For those that don't come that often, check the internet for deals.

Pros: Great Food!!, Good Attractions!!, Rarely Crowded

Cons: Short Hours of ops

California Adventure is a fun park. There is not too much for the little ones to do but the older kids will love it. Soarin over California is the best ride there. You can smell the oranges over the orange groves, and feel the cold over the snowcapped mountains. The muppets in 3d was also fun. The electrical parade is just as great as it was in disneyland. Compared to disneyland, the lines are quite short.

Pros: electrical parade, fun rides, love for california

Cons: high price, not for little kids

I did not like Disney California Adventure mainly because of pricing. Why do I have to pay $43 to see a park half as small and not as entertaining? The rides aren't that great, except for Soaring Over California. It's not worth the money until they expand. The rides at the original park are a lot better and there are more of them.

Pros: atmosphere

Cons: crowded, expensive, too small

Well, I'm sure the ones on here giving DCA a "10" are the ones who are there every weekend with their passes, wearing those overhyped and overpriced pieces of tin, otherwise known as "Pin Traders"-is there ANYTHING Disney won't do to suck the $$ from us? I'm sure Walt would have never have taken the prices to this extreme, and have wanering photographers in the park-is there ANYTHING MICHAEL IESNER WON'T DO FOR CASH? As far as the park goes, its alright, but the BEST is THEY SELL BEER!! AS far as the rides go, they're about Knotts Berry Farm Quality. Sad, isnt it?

Pros: Beer, Wine, Live Bands

Cons: Hollywood Backlot, Prices of Food, Employee Attitude
