Want cold or overcooked food?
by kirby13 at Citysearch
The fries were completely cold (for the second time, I decided to give the place another shot) and any meat you order is never cooked to specification. Saying "medium" will always equal "well done". Just to find out how true this was, I ordered "medium rare" and got a hockey puck instead. The "chef" must have the burner consistantly set to HIGH, seeing as that the nachos tasted like they'd had every bit of moisture evaporated from it.
The "chef" should be fired. It doesn't take a genius to cook meat.
On the other hand, the wait staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. Almost as if they knew what was coming after the orders left our mouths.
- Pros: Wait Staff
- Cons: The FOOD
Eat, Drink, then walk out on your Bill like ME!
by jendaws72 at Citysearch
I have to say I have never walked out on a bill, but when I was left there for 45 minutes with no help, and all my food was served cold, and all the beer was skunked, and they avoided me, I had to do something. This place was just awful. The Men's room I hear is trashed too. They spilled water all over my table and never brought towels to clean it up, THEY have the stickiest tables I have ever been misfortunate enough to eat off of. I heard then cursing and using 4 letter words from BEHIND THE BAR and I saw them wrestling around instead of working. They cursed about my nose (yes I know it is big, thank you I was born with it and it helps me breathe) and rolled their eyes at me. I would never walk out on a bill but this time they got off easy.
- Pros: They may close
- Cons: it's all a con
For Where You Are, It's Good to Go

I'm reviewing to counter the negative reviews I've read here -- when we went, our server was extremely accommidating. The beer and food were fine, but I was most impressed with the attentive service. Our server checked frequently that we were happy with our drinks and food, and prompt in bringing the bill when we were ready to go. Perhaps those who wrote it took too long were just bored with their company? I'd never wait 15 minutes for drinks, though... I'd say something after five or leave and go elsewhere.
Microbrewery with a German-influenced menu high above CityWalk.
by Contributor at Citysearch
In Short
The brewery is laid-back compared to bustling CityWalk. The beer-garden terrace sits figuratively--and literally--higher than the fun-from-all-angles maelstrom it overlooks. The menu includes a grilled sausage sampler that jumps from Spain to Bavaria; marinated steak is coated with lager glaze and served atop garlic mashed potatoes. The Red Trolley Ale and Amber Lager are on the list of more than 30 house beers.
Could Be Worse

I've been there on a few occasions and I've had more good experiences than bad. Of the few bad experiences I've had, I've had the misfortune to have been served by inexperienced wait staff. If you have a less than pleasurable meal, I would suggest discussing your experience with management, otherwise nothing will improve.
- Pros: Food, Beverage, Ambiance
- Cons: Service, Rude Customers

With out a doubt, the worst run establishment I have ever been to. We arrived and 10 minutes later our server showed up for drink orders. 15 minutes later he returned and apologized because the new keg needed to be tapped, he then took our food orders. Since when does it take 15 minutes to tap a keg or to communicate with clientele?
@0 minutes our luke warm entrees and cold fries arrived. When I asked the manager for a bill for 1 beer and a glass of wine, she disappeared for 8 minutes, where upon we left.
NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!
GREAT EXPERIENCE

What a great place to go when at citywalk!! The service was fine, attentive and timely, much more so then any other micro-brewery I have visited. The menu has good variety and check out the beer menu- they actually make all their own beers and had 11 on tap when I was there. To top it all off we sat on the patio overlooking citywalk where they had a band and late night happy hour- beers were just $2!!
- Pros: great beer, location, value
- Cons: parking
Sights, Suds & Sucky Service
by rodney924 at Citysearch
Eating good food and drinking an interesting variety of beers is something a lot guys live for. Seating on the patio at Citywalk gives you a great over-looking view of one of the court yards. Where you can do some people watching. The food was good and the beer was even better, but the service was awful after being seated after about a 10 minute wait, it took another 15 minutes before our waiter came over. After eating dinner and ordering a few more beers and giving the waiter a credit card we sat there for almost another 30 minutes and the waiter still never showed. Unfortunately I had to go to the bar inside to get my credit card and sign. The food and beer was great but the service sucks!
- Pros: good beer, good food, ambience
- Cons: service sucks, crowded
