Westfield Topanga

One of the Valley's oldest malls is still going strong after all these years.

The Scene
Hang out at this shopping institution long enough and you're sure to overhear Valley natives reminiscing about times past when Chowzer's Food Court was an ice-skating rink, or when Sears was the Broadway. The lovely annual display of holiday decorations and local dance recitals make this mall a favorite winter haunt, and the 120-plus store selection and pleasant atmosphere keep locals coming back to shop.

The Goods
Topanga Plaza is a ship full of treasures, with Nordstrom at the helm. Equally noteworthy is the updated Sears. Ann Taylor and Banana Republic are crowd pleasers, as are Gap and Victoria's Secret. Crate & Barrel window displays will bring out the shopper in the most hesitant consumer. Teen girls will love Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. Between purchasing flurries, stop and have a bite at California Pizza Kitchen, Daphne's Greek Cafe, Sbarro or La Salsa.

Best shopping in the Valley

The new addition of Westfield Topanga is amazing. There are now hundreds of stores with higher quality additions like Armani Exchange, Burberry, and Lacoste to name a few, the new Nordstrom is even more wonderful than before, and the food court now has fresh sushi and a great cafe that even serves breakfast. The new parking structure seems nice, but could have been designed better. I'm not looking forward to it this holiday season.
