the Brentwood salon -Tracy for natural color and Jason for a great haircut

I've been to some of the top salons in LA but they were very expensive mediocre experiences. Tracy and Jason are so talented that I had to take the time to share my experience with others wanting to discover their best look. I see Tracy for color and Jason for my cut. They both have a wonderfully confident, friendly demeanor. Tracy is young and hip with exceptional skill when it comes to hair color and highlights. She is also honest and will talk with you about processing that may be harmful to your hair or that will not be the best color for your skin tone.

Jason is progressive with a creative vision of style and what looks good on you. I appreciate that he takes the time to find out what you're looking for. He always seems to know how to keep ahead of the latest trends and techniques. Besides being the best stylist, he is personable and very funny.

If you really love and care about your hair...

You MUST see Janelle.

The woman is a color GENIUS. I brought in a picture of what I wanted, and she matched it perfectly. Now, I already knew she was the best, because she’s pretty well known. But she took my hair, which was a) dull b) lifeless c) three different colors and turned it into gorgeous awesome brilliance. And you know the best part? It doesn’t even look dyed. It looks natural, which I’m pretty sure is key in getting your hair done. It’s not overdone, and the highlights are the smoothest caramel tones you have ever seen, not brassy at all. She’s an artist. She is amazingly precise with everything she does and of course, she mixes the color herself. This woman doesn’t just dye hair, she gives you your dream hair. You can bring in a picture, and she will duplicate it.

I went in with way-too-light roots that went for a couple inches sharply transitioning to a deep dark brown, with the last 4 inches of my hair being a lackluster dull black. Instead of stripping all the dark out and doing it that way, she darkened the roots matching the overall color. Then she added in the highlights which brought it all together. She does what’s best for your hair, only another reason to love her.

The only downfall of this is, now I’m going to be addicted. It’s expensive but affordable, and it’s worth it. I’m already thinking about 6 months down the road of going lighter. Just because I’ve always wanted to see what it’d be like, and I completely trust that she will make it work. She gives you hair that works for you, not hair that overpowers you. I was squealing as I walked to my car (which by the way, if you go, park at Saks 5th across the street because, let’s face it, in Bev Hills there’s never a place to park). I take pride in my hair, and now I have even more reason to.

I would follow Janelle anywhere!

Janelle has been my colorist for three years and I would follow her anywhere! I first came to her to fix a horrible overprocessed brassy orange blond that I had gotten done to save a buck! I have learned that screwing up your hair is NEVER an excuse to save..take my advice and go to the best colorist in Beverly Hills. Janelle has never disappointed me AND she has taken me from the dreaded orange brass to baby blond, rich brunette and back again!! I also recommend Jay for a great cut. Juan Juan fufills all of my salon needs and has a wonderful staff that exceeds expectations.

Great haircuts

You pay for what you get. Yes, you will get an amazing haircut and color, but you will also pay for it. It's such a great salon experience, and something you will never forget. I say to pay the extra money and go with the higher professionals...you definitely won't regret it. It's worth every penny you spend. You will be back every month asking for the newest styles and colors. Such a great experience!!

Best Colorist in Beverly Hills, Hollywood and the rest of LA

I have been a client of Janelle?s for well over 8 years. I met Janelle after I had a major mishap with my hair color, which left my hair severely damaged. I walked through the doors of Juan Juan and immediately asked for their best colorist to save my hair. If there?s a doctorate in hair coloring, Janelle would have a Ph.D. She is a highly skilled colorist who applied her ingenious techniques on my hair and repaired what I thought would be the end of it. I know that sounds a bit dramatic. But if you saw my hair, you would totally understand the drama I was going through. I have naturally dark hair, and throughout the years, I?ve gone through several shades of brown and red. I was switching colors back & forth from red to a golden brown or reddish blonde, when I destroyed my hair. And after Janelle worked her magic on my pretty little head, let?s just say that I?ve been a blonde for about 8 years now and still loving it! My hair has gone through several shades of blonde ? from a golden brown to a sunny shade. Not only did Janelle repair my hair and gave me various vibrant looks through the years, she has also helped boost my morale and my self-esteem. So yeah?she does indeed deserve a Ph.D., as she not only helped me physically, but mentally as well. I REFUSE to have anyone else color my hair except for the lovely Ms. Janelle. Love her!!!

The best Brazilian hair treatment

I just had a Brazilian keratin hair treatment at Juan Juan, Beverly Hills and I am so happy with this new treatment. My hair has never looked so good! Never has my hair been so manageable. I went from a grueling 45 minute blow-drying session to a 10 minute session. With that extra time in the morning I am now able to work out!

Unlike those other hair straightening treatments that fry your hair if you have color in it , the Brazilian straightening doesn't because it has keratin protein instead of chemicals. So it actually strengthens and straightens your hair up to 4 months.

So now I can have it all, and it rocks. I highly recommend Janelle Varada at Juan Juan.

I am from New York and i went to Anastasia to have my eyebrows done ,and i ask the girl who did my eyebrows Nicoleta were i can go for haircut and she sent me to juanjuan to DANI for haircut and ELLY for color! I had the best experience ever in my life , DANI GAVE ME THE BEST HAIRCUT i dont need to do anything with my hair i just wash and go ,and i went to so many salons before in new york and beverly hills!My color are perfect i cant ask for more, i am happy happy i will fly back to see Dani and Ally i will never go anywere else! I have to thank to the eyebrows guru Nicoleta for my new look ! I am so happy with the best haircut,best color and best eyebrows! thank you thank you

Amazing, friendly, & creative

From red fox to foxy! I'm a natural blonde whose hair had been damaged by incompetent treatment... Instead of golden, I was a matt reddish color and very unhappy over it. That all changed with Janelle Varada who returned me to the sun-bleached blonde of old. She is absolutely amazing and I recommend her to all you blondes out there!
