I've been to both the Downtown and Beverly Hills locations. Most of the time, the food has been delicious. I enjoy the sourdough bread they serve to start, and their fried calamari is great. They have a wide variety of seafood dishes and the menu changes from time to time. Their lunch specials are reasonably-priced as well. I'd say about 80% of the meals I've had here have been delicious (the rest were just OK), and I've probably been there at least 10 times.

Pros: Good food, nice atmosphere

Cons: lack of parking

If you work downtown, it's a convenient location to have happy hour with friends who also work in the area. If you go for dinner, the artichoke dip is a yummy appetizer.

..that this passes for fine dining and people believe it! Nice atmosphere, good service, great for large groups, etc. But underlying it all truly mediocre food! I can make better food in my non-pro kitchen (and so can you!) and i've never had a cooking lesson! Beware of any restaurant of this calibre that doesn't serve warm bread. Even the deserts fall flat. From start to finsih a poor food experience! The same type of food you'd get at a "rubber chicken" hotel banquet!

Maybe because it is a safe chain where the menu is classic and there is much to choose from, but I am quite certain my party was the youngest in the room! For my friends, this is a good spot because of the location near their offices, and for me, it was just something new. The decor is heavy and dark. The portions are large (the Ahi Tuna appetizer is large enough for an entrée) and the menu lists over a dozen fish for preparation as well as options from the lunch menu (Seafood Cobb). All-in-all, the meal was satisfying, but it is not my number one choice for a night out with friends..

Pros: Options

Cons: Decor, Ambience

I've been 21 for about 6 months now, and this is the best happy hour I've come across in LA, especially if you're on a budget. ITs a somewhat sophisticated vibe, although the clientele can be rambunctious college kids, that provided $1 burgers and cheap beers. Don't get scammed and start ordering martinis or "menu items," stick to the happy hour menu and tap beer to fully capitalize the bargain.

Pros: Happy Hour

Cons: Pricey, unremarkable steak house

My boyfriend and I just ate a very romantic dinner with a carry out meal. We had crab cakes and fish and chips. The crab cakes were the best we have ever eaten, the sauce on the side was so good. Order an extra one. The fish and chips were excellent, the portion of fish was 3 large filets, the fries were very good. The tartar sauce was fresh and very tasty. The meal came complete with sourdough bread and everything was included to have a great meal outside in a downtown courtyard. We both said to each other, "we would definetly eat at this location again."

Pros: great food and service

We were staying at the downtown Marriott and wanted to go to a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. We had excellent food, a knowledgeable waiter and were seated promptly, even though it was dinnertime. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: excellent food, knowledgeable waiters

because of the "chain" reputation, we were reluctant to go - the meal was surprisingly good - wide variety menu with lovely decor - glad we went in - we were visiting from New York and will definitely look up the chain in NYC -

Pros: extensive menu, prices, decor

At happy hour you can get a burger and fries for $2! How can you beat that? The place is fun and laid back. Sports are usually on the t.v. Parking is in a garage below the restaurant. You can eat outside or inside. My only complaint would be that it's super hard to find a table during happy hour.

Pros: Cheap, Yummy, Good portion sizes

Cons: Busy

-The seafood here is impeccably fresh. Flown in daily, the new selections can be seen on the Fresh List at the top of each menu, printed daily. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the cuisine and is happy recommend their favorite menu items. -Happy hour food is excellent, at a great price. The ½ pound burger & fries for $2 sells for $9 normally. There is an extensive Happy Hour martini menu which is discounted. The bartenders here are very well trained and can fulfill virtually any drink request. - The atmosphere is great classy but relaxed, with the feel of an Irish Pub (look for the countdown to St. Patricks Day in the bar). Its upscale, but offers a relaxed happy hour with great inexpensive cuisine. The clientele is a fun mix of young professionals and Coeds from neighboring USC and Loyola Law School.

Pros: Fresh Food, Great Service, Fun Bar/Happy Hour

Cons: Can be Very Busy, Limited HH drink spec
