Beware! Thieves!!

Beware before purchasing anything at Shop Kitson!! I ordered from them and approximately 6 hours later I had almost $1000 in fraudulent charges on my card. I never use this particular card and don't carry it in my wallet, plus some of the charges were from the Los Angeles area..........so it is obvious someone that works there took my info and used it to purchase items. Not to mention that the item I ordered never shipped! My bank is currently investigating it and I can assure you I will be pressing charges.

DONT SHOP HERE!!

Normally, I don't take the time out to leave comments but this needs to be said: I URGE YOU TO SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!!!!

I made a purchase online and received the notice...., blah blah blah. I waited a week and nothing. Since their website doesn't feature a order tracking option, I emailed them and they answered saying that my order will be sent immediately. Obviously, the order was lost and they were scrambling to get it out.

Anyway, 19 days later after I placed my order, I finally receive my package...... WITH THE WRONG ITEM! By now, I'm beyond angry. I send them another email stating the wrong item was shipped. They reply saying they will expedite my replacement and reimburse my shipping cost once the item has been returned. Wait another 6 weeks. I'm ready to call my credit card company to refute any charges and then I randomly receive my package with no apology for their stupidity or lack of professionalism. After reading some of these other posts, I guess I’m lucky for even getting what I ordered!

Kitson’s business practices are absolutely absurd and ludicrous! How can they think they are running a business? A bunch of monkeys can do a better job! Clearly, they’ve been featured on ‘People’ one time too many for all the wannabee “actresses” that shop there but they know absolutely nothing about business and customer service!

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND SANITY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

DO NOT SHOP KITSON ONLINE.

They do not answer customer service number. They do not repond to emails and they take a VERY long to time ship your order (or let you know that what you ordered is out of stock).

DON'T EVEN BE TEMPTED!

Also, I can't help wondering if the 'Best Online Customer Service' review was written by Kitson staff. In reality, I have never experienced such BAD customer service from an online retailer.

Best online customer service

I LOVED SHOPPING AT THEIR ONLINE STORE, SHOPKITSON,MY ORDER WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY JUST MOVED OFFICES BUT IF YOU READ THEIR CUSTOMER SERIVICE POLICY IT EXPLAINS IT ALL THERE. I RECEIVED EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED AND WHEN I CALLED TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER I GOT THROUGH EASILY, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO HELP ME. I WILL DEFINITELY SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN, THEY HAVE THE CUTEST STUFF.

• Cons: delayed orders

CANCEL your online order without notice.

I won't shop there ANYMORE. DO NOT SHOP at ONLINE SHOP. You will not know when you are going to receive what you bought. It may take a month or MORE. I swear I won't shop there anymore.

Avoid shopkitson!!!

Don't shop or buy from shopkitson!!! EVER!!!! I wish I had read all the horror stories before I placed my order. I have had one order cancel without being notified after no communication for two weeks. The manager refused to cancel another order after I had not heard about the status of my order in over a week and a half and I attempted to call for three days (busy signal or no one picked up) and sent several emails when the package had NOT even shipped yet - it was sitting in the shipping department! I had all my phone and email records in hand and they said because they did not "view" the emails before they charged my card and all sales items are final, they refused to cancel my order. They are the WORST business!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased this headband from kitson's online store. When I received the item looked COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what was pictured. In fact it wouldn't be a DOUBLE gold headband it would be a SINGLE gold headband. Instead of a smooth rope like headband...what i got was a chain-linked diamond shapes streaming across the headband...i was like WTF!!!! I'm still trying to contact these people through there customer service line...I've been calling for a total of 40 times!!! NO ONE HASN'T EVEN PICKED UP YET!!!! THERE'S NOT EVEN AN ANSWERING MACHINE, so that i could leave a message since no one picks up!!! So hopefully if you order an item you'll receive the right item. Or else...don't even try to reach customer service for help b/c its ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! ESPECIALLY FOR THIS REALLY EXPENSIVE HEADBAND THAT DOESNT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THE @!#@!# PICTURE! I EVEN TRIED CALLING THEIR MAIN STORE...SOME GAY GUY PICKED UP THE PHONE AND ACTED LIKE HE COULD CARE LESS. HE SAID THAT HE'LL GIVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PPL MY NUMBER AND THEY'LL CALL ME BACK LATER TODAY....HOPEFULLY THEY WILL...I'VE BEEN CALLING FOR DAYS!!!!!!!! I'VE NEVER BEEN SO TICKED OFF!!!!!!!!

I live about 5 hours from LA so i drive down to kitson all of the time! it's my facorite store i've been to, and i've shopped fifth avenue in new york many times as well. People seem to be saying that it's overpriced and too big of a fuss, but that's what you're going to get when you're a major hollywood boutique! the items are extrodinary and the service is not at all a problem. the hippies that say paparazzi swarming in the front is a bad thing are nuts. Don't you like to feel like a star? Kitson makes sure of that!!!

• Cons: not one!
