YUM!!
by JMMS
The warm rice salad is delicious!!! Cute place and really fun/friendly vibe!!
- Pros: Great food, atmosphere
Great food, affordable prices!
by DaniellaKK
This place has very good food, steaks, chicken, empanadas, and great mashed potatoes. They have a nice outside patio and valet service. The only weird thing is that to make reservations, you have to FAX over a sheet with your credit card info, a little weird...
- Pros: great food
- Cons: really complicated and unnecessary reservation system
Great food at a great price
by MikeJS
I absolutely love this restaurant. They have a great wait staff, cool ambiance, quick service, and most importantly great food. I strongly recommend their steaks. Mostly priced under $20 bucks it tastes great and if bought with the french fries, will fill you up quite well. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch. Lala's keep up the great work.
- Pros: great prices and great food
- Cons: parking
Yummy!!!

I love dinner at Lala's! The steak with mushroom sauce is to die for! I always order it with half mashed potatoes, half salad. The bread and oil dip is delicious, too. I don't know the ingredients, but it's highly addictive. One of my favorite dinner spots.
- Pros: Food! Nice outside patio.
- Cons: Parking is a pain - just pay for valet, it's worth it
From bad to worse
by mendoza64
Being born and raised in Argentina, Lala's was one those eateries that I used to go frecuently. I have to admit that in the beginning food and service wasn't that bad althought nothing out of the ordinary. It had a trendy ambience and I didn't mind settle for less in quality as long as food and service were ok. But, slowly but surely the level of food and service (horrible these days) went down noticeably. Last time I was there I ordered a chicken milanesa. Let me tell you, it was so badly burnt that I had to send it back. To my surprise, they get rid of the marinated burnt parts and brought it back to the table. Oh man! That was the final straw. I will never, ever go back to Lala's and I strongly recommend not to go either. Bad food. lousy service, terrible parking and pricey tabs.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Everything
Incredible food
by scinla
The food here is amazing. I could spend a lifetime figuring out which kind of skirt steak I like best, not to mention the salads, chicken and wine. Not a huge fan of the sangria, but everything else is great. The food is just so incredible, you HAVE to give it a shot.
- Pros: Food, Food, Food
Great authentic flavors

From the chimichurri sauce & bread to the entrana & sangria you cannot go wrong.
The service is awesome and the only thing better is Lala's special mashed potatoes!
Ask for them - you'll be glad you did.
Desserts are something to be desired though, not a great selection...so loadup on the beef & Lala's potatoes.
The sangria alone, warrants a visit - very refreshing & light!
- Pros: Great beef dishes & Sangria!
- Cons: Parking is very busy inspite of valet
it was alright

we've been to the lala's on melrose and went to this one since it was closer for everyone and i have to say, the melrose one is way better. the entrana steak and chimmichurri were still awesome, but they didn't have the white wine sangria that was so delish at the melrose one. it was pretty busy for a monday night, though, and the service was also still excellent. we were lucky and got a spot in the parking lot, so at least that was better. i think we'll stick with the melrose one from now on, though.
- Pros: entrana steak, chimmichurri
- Cons: no white wine sangria!
Good food at reasonable prices.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend, so I took my family for lunch on a Saturday. The food was very good & the Sangria was refreshing. The only draw back is that it was a hot day & the restaurant was very HOT inside, the air conditioner could not cool the place down so it was very uncomfortable. Other that that I truly recommend this place.
- Pros: Empanadas, Sangria
- Cons: Hot inside
I'm getting hungry just writing this!

I've visited both this and the Melrose Lala's location, and they're both a lot of fun. The Studio City restaurant doesn't have as nice (or big) of a patio, but the food's still great, and the service at the time of our visit was jovial and attentive. The chimichurri sauce served with the bread is my favorite part of the Lala's experience - I drizzle it on eveything from empanadas to salad. The proveleta is also a revelation: melted cheese in a skillet - how can you go wrong?
