Best Moving Company EVER

OMG did I ever regret not using these guys during my last move. The guys arrived just a little after 8:00 AM and I was told they would be there between 8-10 AM. They were ready to get the show on the road even though I had an enormous amount of boxes and antiques. They protected my heirlooms and treated my plants with respect and protected them so they wouldn’t break during the ride as if it were their own property they were moving, which I really appreciated. I was amazed at how quick it was for them to load and ready to get on the road within 3 hours which is about what we all expected they would take and as we found stuff they didn’t realize they had to take, they made room in the truck to make sure all my valuables went with them safely.

The crew moved at a speed I had never seen before and the ride was quicker than everyone expected. It only took them 1 hour which they thought it would be about 1 hr 15 min to 1 hr 30 min. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved at the speed to which they arrived at my new place. Once at our new home they cracked the whip, I don’t know where they got the second wind, but these extremely hard workers got it and rolled with their new found wind.

The only thing I was expecting different was that they would unload first what the loaded last and I think that would have made things easier for them and quicker and in turn easier when unpacking but I will not take away from what a blessing these guys were to my mother, my pets, and especially to myself. I could not and would have not been able to survive the stress of moving, working 2 jobs, and finding a new place without the wonderful company of North Star.

I hope it’s a long time before I have to move again but when I do move into my purchased home I know for sure I will use them and I will make sure not to forget to buy the Yelp Deal which saved me $50 bucks. Now a day, that’s dinner at a nice restaurant. LOL.

If you want to shop around, I suggest you do to get piece of mind but don’t forget that you get what you pay for and this place not only gives you the best deal, it gives you an even better customer service from the time you open your door to get your estimate which is spot on with what they will end up spending to the moment they leave your property after unloading all your stuff. I was so tired I almost forgot my receipts and they kept calling me and running after me to give me the receipts. I trusted these men with my most precious items and they were great at treating them as if they were their own. Nothing got lost and THEY did not break anything. They made some new items look like antiques but fortunately I like that look and was grateful I didn’t have to do it myself.

NorthStar is the best Moving Company I have ever used. EVER!

NorthStar Moving Company was by very far the best moving company I have ever used. They showed up right on time, with clean, polite & respectful movers. I have a lot of heavy & fragile furniture and they were able to handle everything seemingly effortlessly.

They had my whole house packed up, on the truck truck & unloaded in just a short work day, I couldn't have asked them to move any quicker or with more care.

When I first called NorthStar I spoke with a very professional & polite woman named Kat Alexander, She handled all of my questions through out the entire moving process, It was truly refreshing to get to speak with her every time I needed to call, knowing I wouldn't have to re-explain the whole situation all over again with a different person.

They had one of the best price tags I've ever even heard of a moving company providing, they were completely fair in what they charged me, especially considering how much work they actually had to do, along with helping me box things up throughout the day, because I waited till the last minute to pack.

I moved to Los Angeles about 6 years ago and have moved around the area near 10 times, using all the well known and not so well known moving companies, and the only problem I had with NorthStar was that I didn't find them 6 years ago; They would have saved me a lot of time, money, hassle & damaged property.

As long as I live in Los Angeles, I will never look for another moving company again.

Great Service!

I wanted to both commend and recommend NorthStar Moving Co for the outstanding job they did with my move on Mar 5th, 2011. I have made several residence moves in the past, not always with good results but Northstar exceeded my expectation. The positive experience started with the return call from their account rep, Kat, who was very professional and asked all the right questions. The quoted price was very fair and, as it turned out, an incredible deal. The moving team was very professional and focused on making sure that my possessions and property were well protected. They even had to carry furniture and appliances up a double flight of stairs and never hit the walls or banisters. Even when they finished, there was no damage at all. I would highly recommend them for any move contemplated and will use them again in the future.

Professional, Fantastic Movers!

I can tell you that I could not be happier that I was with Carlos Perez and his guys. They were capable, efficient and all had nice attitudes. Carlos was particulary skilled when it came time to break down furniture and put it back together again, remove and replace door handles and a door -- he was amazingly quick and skilled. Everything got to my place without a scratch and without damage to the walls and molding of either place. The whole move went quicker than I expected too.

Best Movers Ever!

I just completed my second move with Northstar and they are a pleasure to work with. Everyone I interacted with was polite, efficient and great to work with. The cost was really reasonable and nothing was broken or lost , which is always a treat! I have recommended NorthStar to anyone I know who is moving and will use them again in the future. They make moving as pleasant as possible.

Amazing experience

It was honestly a pleasure to be moved into a new home by Northstar. The dispatcher was so nice and accommodating. I had almost been ripped off by Excalibur Van-Lines (total crooks) and I had to fire them the day of my move. I called Northstar and they were able to step in and move me that same day. The movers themselves were professional, polite and very very fast. They even allowed me to tell them my budget and they worked with me to reach a mutual price. All in all, any future move I have will be a no brainer. The dispatcher even called me the next day and asked me how it went and remembered minor details about myself that I had told her the day before. If you are looking for honesty, efficiency and a personal touch, I highly suggest you consider Northstar.

Best company in town......

I called a few places before calling North Star, and the people where mean and really didn't want to help. Once I called North Star, they where great. If you get a change Kat Alexander at the moving company, was great, helped me out with everything. I really didn't know what I was doing but she was there to help me out. Then I needed to change the date and Jason Orosco took care of me in a min. Great work team. Then on moving day the guys came and packed it up so quickly. They where amazing, I know I couldn't of done it with out them. Once we got to are new place they starting unloading the truck, and putting the beds together and helping me placing everything where it should be. I had no problem unpacking our stuff. I am telling all of my friends and family about North Star, great team, great work, and great company all around.

Best Moving Experience Ever

The guys did a transcontinental move for me. They packed my furniture as if they were works of art from a museum. They were on time, on budget and most pleasant to work with. They put the capital "P" in Professional. I have moved numerous times in my life, too numerous, but never experience anything like this. It was beyond my wildest expectations.

San Jose Move

Northstar sent four men with one van for my move. They arrived on time at 8:30a.m. and worked very hard until about 7 p.m. with only one short break for coffee and then another for a late lunch that I went and got for them, because they wanted to keep working. Everything was packed or wrapped carefully and arrived in good condition. The price was very reasonable, and less than half the original quote, which happened because I was able to move the goods into my new house 5 miles away the same day I moved out of the old one, instead of having to put everything in storage as I had expected to do.
