I don't know why so many have complained about the parking, as every time i have been there parking is not a problem at all. I do agree it is hard to find your way around despite the "layout" board. it seems a bit like a maze where you think you are going one place and then end up right back where you started. The Coldstone ice cream always sems to run out of many flavors at least on the weekends so i wouldnt advise that place--if you are looking for a bargain i doubt you will find it, but it is a pretty place to see at least just once.

I love this place, but i'm not a shopper. It's big, is almost always empty, sparkling clean, full of future history, and is next to three excellent movie theaters - Grauman's, The El Capitan, and the Chinese 6. Just remember to get your parking ticket validated before escaping the vast underground parking garage maze of doom!

Pros: Next to Grauman's, Mann Chinese 6, $2 parking

Cons: sometimes crowded

First of all, if their intention was to confuse the peanuts out of us ... they have succeeded. Second of all, if you're not a tourist, don't bother. There's nothing new to see for us angelenos! Although they have a well-stocked Sephora, all the other stores are less than enticing, not to mention overpriced. When I first went, only half of the stores were open and parking was $13. So, needless to say, I was pretty upset. I decided to give it another try and.... still pretty bummed. Parking went down considerably...probably because no angeleno will spend that much on parking to shop at the gap when they can just go to the Beverly Center and pay a buck. PLEASE, ANGELENOS, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. TOURISTS...GO RIGHT AHEAD.

Pros: Sephora, glitz and glamour

Cons: Parking, Crowds, everything

This place was very confusing...even the underground parking. I'm usually very good with directions and maps, but found myself at the opposite point of where I thought I'd be when I got upstairs into the open air. Babylon Court is interesting with it's huge elephants, but after the first 5 minutes, it's just another outdoor court. I'm sure on Oscar night, the place is a star-watcher zoo, but on a regular Thursday afternoon, it's all video camera wielding tourists and nearby hotel guests. Overall, not the best place to shop or dine, but a decent local landmark to meet up with friends for a quick coffee or a few drinks before a movie.

Pros: variety of shops

Cons: confusing parking

This place is one big maze and is very confusing. It is a lot larger than I thought it would be. Perhaps they chose the layout to maximize the space but it really is confusing. The stores they have there (at least the ones I saw) weren't any good. Parking wasn't bad for me (on a Saturday!) though others seemed to complain of parking in their reviews. Most everything their is overpriced...but that's probably so because it tends to be geared more for tourists.

The layout of this place is confusing. With so many levels and no real "center" it's not easy to navigate. Too bad, cuz it woulda been nice to have a decent shopping center in Hollywood. Oh well, another trap for those poor tourists hoping for a glimpse of the real Hollywood.

There are only two redeeming qualities of this mall: the re-creation of Cecil B. DeMille's Babylon Court and Hollywood's first Hot Topic outlet. The parking is a nightmare. Though it's city-owned, you'll be lucky if you get outta there for under $5, even if you've just dropped $200 at one of the restaurants.
