Will not be going back

Took my two teenaged sons here for exams and glasses on April 22nd. Picked up the first son's pair a week later - glasses were okay but the support staff didn't seem to want to sit down with us to make sure the frames fit properly. I shrugged it off and we left.

Called back on May 4th to find out the status of second son's pair. Not in yet I was told.

Called back on May 12th. Not in yet. Why? Was told that this pair had to be sent to Sacramento b/c that's where our insurance said to send them. Okay, I say, So how long? Usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, she says. Okay, I say, it's already been nearly 3 weeks. Hmmm.

Husband called them yesterday (May 23). He was told that someone called me on May 11th to say that they were in. Um, No. I never received a call from them. Checked my cell phone (we don't have a land line) and there were no missed calls, no received calls, and no voice mails from the doctor's office. Hmmm....somebody's not telling the truth.

Riddle me this......Why in the world would I call their office on May 12th to inquire about my son's glasses if someone from their office called me on May 11th to tell me the glasses were in? Why, if they were in on the 11th, would the girl tell me some story (on May 12th) about the glasses having to go all the way to Sacramento? And if, indeed, they called me way back on May 11th and I still hadn't picked up the glasses by, say May 20th or so, why wouldn't they give me another call to follow-up? Somebody's lying and it sure ain't me.

Going to get the glasses today. Will make sure that someone helps us if they don't fit right and then NEVER RETURN.

Terrible!

Two rude women `control` the front.

My experience...

I just want to get my contact lenses. I went, took the exam, PAID.

Days go by, no call.

I call them and they told me they`ll check and call me back in 10 minutes.

5 hours later I call them. Instead of sorry or taking any kind of responsibility, I get an `oh, i thought i called you`. No. Still no apology.

I am an international student, my english speaking skills are not good, but she was talking so fast and when I asked her to repeat something or explain it, she was very rude.

Typical immature lazy staff.

They just want to take your money. They keep having me come back for more exams because they keep screwing up my lenses.

Do not go here.

I wish I read the recent reviews. They are very disorganized, make you wait, and charge a lot more than they quote. If you want to over pay for poor service, this is the place for you.

OVERcharged and bad customer service

They will cheat you, please get everything in writing. Break down all costs from them and be aware that the office manager does not care what you think. She is very argumentitive.

I ordered contacts and they charged me for 4 boxes when I only got 2. When I brought this to their attention, the office manager stated that it was on her invoice that they ordered 4. I recommend get in writing how many boxes you receive from them, prior to leaving the store. The BEST thing to do is to go somewhere else.

Save your money, do not go here.

They quoted me a price and did not deliever, actually they sent me a bill asking for more money few months later. I recommend getting your contacts some where else.

Gem of an Office

This is an awesome place when looking to get hip new glasses.

I happened upon this little gem of an office by accident when I was getting a coffee across the street. I had been looking for a new pair of glasses but nothing has caught my eye so I figured I would walk in and see what they had. I was very surprised by their selection. They had brand names such as Versace, Bvlgari, Gucci, Fred and Tom Ford and so many others. They seemed to have glasses in all price ranges, something for everyone. They also have a large selection of sunglasses including Dolce and Gabbana, Juicy Couture, Prada, and Christian Dior. The office is very comfortable and they seem to be quite busy.

I ended up having an eye examination although I did not have an appointment. The optometrist was very helpful and so is the rest of the staff. I also got contact lenses which they had in stock which was very convenient. To top it all off they took my insurance VSP. I will definitely go back to Dr. Friedman's office.

Dr Levin is Wonderful

I would highly recommend Dr Levin. For the past few years my husband and I have been going to him and he is by far the most thorough optometrist we have been to. He really takes the time to make sure you have the correct prescription. He fitted my husband with bifocal contact lenses and because they were going to take a week to get in he gave some free lenses to him so he could see in the meantime. I also suffer from eye allergies and on more than one occasion I have called the office and Dr Levin always takes me the same day when I am having terrible eye irritation just to make sure I am okay. He is also very funny and personable.

Dr Friedman Culver City

I work at Sony Studio right across the street from Dr. Friedman's office. I knew they were there because they have been doing Sony Health Fairs for years. I just needed new lenses for my glasses and I was extremely impressed with their quick and excellent quality of service. The staff is very outgoing, friendly and conscientious. Because they took such great care of me I decided to transfer all my records from my Optometrist in Beverly Hills to Dr. Friedman's office. I have not yet seen the eye doctor but I plan to make an appointment for myself, my wife and our son.

A Great Find

Dr. Friedman's office is great. I saw Dr. Levin he gave me a super detailed exam and answered all my questions. The whole staff is friendly, the optician who helped me was very knowledgeable and recommended a very thin lens with a special coaing to cut glare. I could not be happier with their service. You cannot go wrong at this office. I thought the prices were reasonalbe to.

Dr Friedman's Office

I've been a patient at Dr Friedmans office for several years now. Their service has always been perfect and their prices have always been reasonable. My last exam I saw Dr. Wu. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
