I like staying here when I fly in or out of Los Angeles' airport. The suites are good sized, clean, and comfortable. The property is well maintained. They offer a complimentary free buffet breakfast that is worth going to. There are many good markets and stores and restaurants nearby.

The hotel room was very spacious and had an apartment like feel. The kitchen space is wonderful and is fully equiped with every cooking utensil you need to cook a full course meal! Bathtubs are dated and small but otherwise room is clean. Hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful suburb. Checkin process however, was much different. The hotel required me to place an extremely large hold on my credit card for "incidental charges" even though I paid for my room in full at the time of checkin. This policy was not mentioned by reservations... so be prepared.

Also this hotel is not an ideal choice for tourists who wish to visit L.A. attractions such as the Walk of Fame or hollywood hills attractions because traffic routes between El Segundo and downtown L.A. during the daytime are a nightmare! We spent the majority of time sitting in traffic.

Great for Families

This hotel makes you feel as though you are staying in a mid-sized apartment, rather than being cramped in a small hotel room. This room has everything you could need, such as a recliner, a full-sized refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, and even wine glasses! We were very comfortable there with our two small children. The continental breakfast was served in a quiet clubhouse area and included one hot item which varied daily. I did not care for the room decor, which seems dated, but that was not really important. If you are averse to climbing stairs, you should request a room on the ground floor. In all, it was a very pleasant stay. Check the Wyndham website for cheap last-minute specials. Also, if you register for their By Request program (no cost), you get some perks with your room, such as a bottle of wine upon arrival.
