Best Wood Fired chicken
by daruno
The place is small and the menu is limited, but they have the best smoky flavored chicken around. It's a peruvian wood rotisserie restaurant with limited seating and parking; however, the savory smoldering wood taste of the chicken skin more than makes up for it's short-comings.
- Pros: Great tasting chicken
- Cons: Limited parking and seating
THE BEST POLLO IN LA
by docmarty25
this place has the best tasting chicken at the best prices slow cook with real wood just look on the side of the building and you see the big tree stumps waiting to be put in their brick oven no gas here they cook it like their Incan ancester did back in the old country. The place looks like and old hambuger stand and parking is bad but the people are friendly and the food is the bomb. try the beef hearts they're something differant Pollo Inca is good but the food here is better and the price is cheaper.
- Pros: Tender Chicken Good Prices
- Cons: Parking
Where there's smoke, there's fire--and tasty flame-broiled chicken.

The Scene
You can smell Pollo a la Brasa before you see it. The smoky aroma of roasting meat cuts through the usual city odors, luring diners to a no-frills, Formica-appointed shack that's often packed with customers during peak meal times.
The Food
The folks at Pollo a la Brasa take rotisserie cooking very seriously. Roasting chickens rotate above crackling flames in ovens brimming with firewood. But it isn't just smoke that distinguishes these birds; they're also marinated in spices that imbue them with an aromatic tenderness. Plates come with salad and rice or papas fritas, which are hearty strips of potato fried to perfection (they're delicious with the spicy green aji sauce). Those hankering for red meat can opt for rib-eye steak or beef-heart skewers. Desserts are simple but satisfying: a homey rice pudding, a bright fruit pudding and buttery anise-tinged shortbread cookies sandwiched together with caramel.
