The doormen are rude and dumber than hell. A friend of mine is a local cop. So the dumb doormen at the door decided to search him while they let some gang members walk straight in. Totally dumb. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

The Place for Sox and Pats Fans!

I don't agree with some of the reviews. The food is great, there are TV's everywhere. Sox nation is alive and well at Fenner's. The staff is awesome. I'm from out of town on business. I drive 45 minutes to watch all the games here when I'm in town. Great setting on the beach. Some open air seating.

Plenty of room and everyone is welcome.

Last Sunday I watched the Pats, then stayed for the Sox playoff game. Wicked awesome!

Here's a tip, don't get too drunk and you won't get thrown out.

• Pros: Sox and Pats games always. The staff are Sox and Pats fans.. Great seafood. Awesome sports bar. Great location on the beach.
• Cons: Every now and then the bottled beer is not cold enough. Need to plan ahead for big crowds.

Violent Security

I Watched a guy get thrown down two flights of stairs last night. I literally pulled him out by his feet to save him from the huge security gaurds that were punching him and trying to stomp his head in. My wife was treated rudely at the door and my sister was yelled at, cursed at, spat in the face by security at closing time. The reason why the guy got beat up by security was because he couldn't speak english and was here on vacation and he checked his new skateboard at the door and was trying to get it back. The security was so overly aggressive and irrational that they would not listen to or be kind to anyone no matter their race or gender. It was four huge gaurds on one 6' foot 175 pound intoxicated young man. I saw no attempt to restrain him or calm the situation, only violence and hostility. It could happen to anyone here, seriously. Beware, don't go there!!

My friends and I have been going to this place for the past year. The past few times we have been there, though, we have had APPALLING encounters with staff. At closing time, the security/ bouncers have been EXTREMELY aggressive at making people leave. We have been threatened with tazors by one bouncer, had noisemakers blown at us, and been PHYSICALLY INTIMIDATED. When I told one of the bouncers how awful it was that he was waving a tazor around at people, he proceeded to turn it on (or whatever you call it with that stuff) and push it toward us. I was there this past Friday and made a comment to a very nice bartender about this treatment, and she told me to talk to the owner about it as he was the DJ that night. When i approached him about it, he essentially called me a liar. My friend came over to corroborate my story, and he proceeded to call BOTH of us liars. He asked us to point out which security guard it was (it's a DARK bar inside, and there are multiple rooms with security all spread out), I told him I didn't see the man in that specific room, but I described him to the owner. The owner was still belligerent and mean, and when i told him that i was so offended by past treatment that i considered talking with a government agency that kind of regulates what businesses are doing (citysearch isn't letting me type the name of the bureau), he yelled "You're 86ed! Get her out of here. Don't ever come back!" A security guard proceede to take me BY MY COLLAR and move me toward the door. I told him I would leave, and that he didn't need to put his hands on me. He didn't really care. I was essentially pushed out of the club. The security guard was ENORMOUS. I'm 5'4" (okay, 5'3") and about 130 pounds. I'm OUTRAGED by my treatment. And i will be contacting the necessary authorities regarding this. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT INTIMIDATES AND ABUSES PATRONS.

VIOLENT BOUNCERS!! CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I SAW!!

This past Sunday night I witnessed a very horrific incident at FFFF. A bouncer was kicking a lady out, and as she turned to say something to him, he took her by the collar and threw her FACE DOWN onto the concrete. When she got back up her whole entire face was covered with red flesh (I can't write the other word on here..it doesn't let me!!??)!! What bothers me even more, is that he then pushed her again! I can not believe what I saw! I have never seen anything like that in my life!! I have seen girls get kicked out of bars that couldn't even walk, and they would just be escorted out. If bouncers can't handle drunk people they should NOT be bouncers. The bouncer was arrested and the ambulance came for the woman. She had a broken nose, sprained wrist, and sprained shoulder!! Can you believe that?? I was in shock!! This was my first time at FFFF and I will not be back. I would hate for that to be me or one of my girlfriends!!

Excellent food, slow service, but excellent food

The Salmon Chowder is to die for. Wonderful and flavorful, but nearly 40 minutes for just a cup to come out. Had the Fat Face Burger which was basically just a hamburger and was wonderful as were the french fries. When I finished I had to take a cup of Salmon Chowder back to a co-worker and it was only a matter of minutes for that to come out. I wonder what happened? I will be back when I have more time.

Decent food, Average Crowd, Terrible bouncers

This place used to be a great place to watch the game and go to on the weekends. It has now become a complete wannabe New England sports bar, with the biggest meathead security staff in the south bay. Decent food, and a good place to hang out at on off patriots/red sox game day. There are plenty of other places to go.

• Cons: Crowd, Security, Lines to long for the wait

I've been going here for YEARS I love this place, if you want to hang out with friends and have a drink or go on the weekends and dance it has it all! Very low key and comfortable with a great location. Food is good and it's a lot of fun.
