Worst TAKE OUT SERVICE!!!

I usually don't complaint in vain, but the take out service in this CPK is the worst TAKE OUT service have seen in Los Angeles.

I ordered 2 caesar salads with chicken and when I got to pick it up running during the 2nd half of USA - GHANA world cup game most of the players where celebrating the Goal from USA instead of paying attention to their work. For that reason they gave me my salads without chicken and made me do 2 trips to the same CPK and because of that I lost the whole 2nd half of the game, just because the CPK workers like to see soccer while working instead of putting attention to the orders.

Totally looks like a FML joke, but it was completely real!

• Pros: Nothing
• Cons: They make you go 2 times!

Founded in Beverly Hills in 1985, these eateries with the trademark yellow, black and white color scheme have spread nationwide. The decor consists of simple wood and glass with roomy black leather booths. The thin-crust pizzas come with innovative toppings from Asia, Latin America and the Southwest; signature pizzas like the Original BBQ Chicken and Jamaican Jerk Chicken compete with old standbys like pepperoni and traditional cheese. Just Average. Stay Home.

This one is like all the other CPKs. Just average pizza, neither good ingredients nor good preparation. I wouldn't eat it again if it were free. They have come way down from where they used to be, and are riding on their past successes. I did notice at the Manhattan Beach CPK that almost no one was eating pizza, but other things instead. Perhaps their clientele know something. However, I will go there again and have the chicken tortilla soup. It was quite good.

• Cons: Bland, almost soggy pizza

Inventive Food & Excellent Service

At the MDR CPK, you get more than just excellent food, you also get top notch service. Our waitress, Amber, was very hip, friendly, funny, and always concerned w/ making sure we were well taken care of. Try the new Chipotle Chicken Pizza, Bangkok Calamari and Cal Cosmo; they are phenomenal. The new multi-million dollar remodel puts it in a class that is joined only by LA's hippest restaurants. This is not the CPK you grew up w/; it is swank, vibrant, and beautiful. My four guests from Milan loved the experience, as did my wife and myself.

Best Pizza

I just had the most spectacular pizza. It was the Goat Cheese and Roasted Bell Pepper Pizza, with added Bacon, and it was perfect. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavours were marvelous together. I'm definately going back for more.
