Bad customer service

The manager's name is David, he is a people hater. He is rude and very unprofessional. He told me to "go to hell" when I asked him why he was raising my room rate from $85 a night to $105 and he told me he wanted me out of the hotel if I couldn't pay it. The cleaning staff does a bad job in cleaning up the rooms and they are dirty. Do yourself a favor and pay a few dollars more to find a nice safe place. This place is definitely not worth it!

One of best hotels in the Marina

I stayed at the Jolly Roger Hotel in July and I enjoyed my stay. Our room and the hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and proffessional. The manager David was very helpful and even allowed a 3:00 pm checkout at no extra charge due to my husband not feeling well. The breakfast was much better than the average. I would highly reccomend the Jolly Roger Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, well ran economical hotel the Marina

DON'T GO THERE!

Room 334 where my parents stayed in had lice. The room seamed clean, but we didn't check the beds and anyways, these were so small we probably wouldn't see it. Overnight, my dad woke up saying that there is something moving in the bed. We looked closely and what we saw was unbelievable, thousands of those small things on the pillows and everywhere on the bed. The night manager moved my parents in room 340 but next day we saw those in there too. Of course, the hotel manager never showed up, and he never responded to our calls. I've filled out a complaining report. The next day we checked out, but I'm still freaked out that we might have carried out....
