Hear Music excels when it comes to electronic, folk and world music, offering what might be the Westside's most in-depth selection of new titles in these genres. Jazz and blues enthusiasts might also make some worthwhile discoveries, with standards often priced under $12.99. Those interested in mainstream rock or hip-hop might be better off elsewhere, but Hear Music's modest collection of indie-label titles contains some little-known gems.

The best music store in town!

I love this store. It's not so huge as the megas. They absolutely cater for my tastes. I am a KCRW memebr, so I get 15% off each title. It's easy to find things, the staff is firendly, helpful, knowledgeable. It's always a great experience. Park at the mall's lot for free for 3 hours during the day.
