Puzzle Zoo... Puzzle Joke
by jessesgrllll1 at Citysearch
The Puzzle Zoo has a very small selection of puzzles. They mainly sell overpriced collectables. They dont even carry puzzle glue. Your better off going to Michael's around the corner if you want anything related to puzzles!!!
One of the coolest stores on 3rd st!

I love coming here. I don't even buy that often; it's just cool to check out their stuff. I've bought a few figurines and some toys and just love their selection. Some of their puzzles seem to be overpriced and for serious collectors but alot of their other ecclectic stuff is fun and it's cool to see kids' faces light up to see items they'd never see at other, larger chain stores. I stop by here almost every time I'm on the Promenade. It also creates some fun date-moments. :)
Santa Monica's famed jigsaw shop built a puzzle business into a giant selection of toys and collectibles.

In Short
This Santa Monica mainstay is like "Wild Kingdom" for kids, with tots running up and down the well-lit aisles screaming for parents to "Come look!" The store originally carried only jigsaws, but after feedback from customers, it diversified with a selection of action figures and collectibles. It's now a busy, full-scale toy store split into two rooms. The window displays are always elaborate and interesting. Inside, check out the intricately decorated Gundam and action figures in glass cases.
Amazing Finds

This place is AWESOME. I don't know how well suited it is for children but for collectors with some cash to spend it's a kind of Paradise. Their selection ranges from retro to brand new toys with lots of puzzles, action figures, collector's cards and lunch pails. It's a great place to just wonder or hunt for an elusive find.
