Greg is the master of highlights!

After getting my hair fried at a very high-profile salon, I found Greg at Saints Salon by asking around. I found so many great reviews on yelp I tried him out - he got rid of my brassy base color and gave me "little girl blond" hair - gorgeous! My husband keeps saying how shiny my hair looks. Greg is amazing....I'm a fanatic about my hair and I'm so happy to have found him!

• Pros: open 7 days a week! Lots of nearby food and shopping
• Cons: I haven't found any bad points yet!

I have medium to dark brown hair. I've had my share with hair stylists turning my hair orange and covering up the brassy mess with blue or some sort of ashy toner...only to realize that after 2 weeks the toner is washed out and I'm left with orange hair!

Greg turned my hair into a really pretty blonde...Britney Spears blonde...without using ANY toner and my hair was touchably soft (no fried hair!). I went back to see him to get Jennifer Aniston hair and I was floored with the results! I'm a week into my new Aniston highlights and I'm still getting compliments at work.

I LOVE my hair...slightly obsessed...so shiney, soft, blonde and...PERFECT!!!

I had a wedding to go to in Napa for an old school friend and I had to look fabulous. I usually get my hair done by my good friend, Gwen but she spaced out and went to Vegas with her girlfriends. Needless to say I was livid but then I remembered walking by that super cute place right off the promenade in Santa Monica called, Saints. I raced over, hoping they could take me as a walk - in.... not only did they take me but they put me with a hair goddess. Her name is Michelle and I am naming my first child after her. She was sweet, funny, beautiful and best of all she made me feel and look fabulous. From now on I will ONLY go to her... Sorry Gwen.

• Pros: easy, free parking
• Cons: my hair doesn't grow fast enough to validate seeing Michelle once a day

best hair styling in LA!!!

this place is the best place to get a haircut in the L.A. area! Michelle, my stylist, never misses a beat no matter what style i'm looking to get. she does hair coloring too, and my girlfriend loves it each and every time! and believe me, she's picky about the way she presents herself, and Michelle never fails! highly recommmended!

Greg is the HAIR GOD!!!!!!!!

I had naturally blonde hair in my teens and early twenties, but it has gradually gone to a dingy brown color. So...brown roots on a blonde is a big no-no...and I'm a blonde at heart. I also have the tendency to wait WAY too long to get my hair done. You know...work, social events, trying to save money, etc. But everytime I go to Greg and have my hair done, I ask myself "why didn't I do this sooner?" It always looks AMAZING!!! He is the HAIR GOD I tell you. I walk out of there and onto the Santa Monica Promenade (as it's right around the corner) and I literally feel like people are staring at me. All I want to say to them is "I know...it's the hair isn't it". Please go see Greg...you will be so pleased (I drive all the way from Long Beach for heaven's sake...)!!!

• Pros: Calm atmosphere, great staff, clean facility, etc
• Cons: None for me :)

immaturity regarding previous review

Its pretty obvious that the last comment goes to show just WHY David Mccann USED to work at saints. David left saints and failed to make it on his own, due to lack of skill and tact....hence acting like a child and posting a shamless self-promoting review on saint's page to get clients for himself. Obviously his hair skills arent good enough to stand on their own. IVe been a client of Roys for sometime now, and he is nothing but perfection when it comes to my hair.

• Pros: good energy, late hours open 7 days a week, great stylists

totally worth it!

I loved it there! I've been living in the Santa Monica area for 4 yrs and have been pretty unsatisfied with all the hair salons I've gone too up until now. I got my hair cut by Carol Ann- she's great! She's totally down to earth, likes her job, and knows what she's doing! I'm thrilled to have gone there. It's the best haircut I've gotten in years :-) I'll definitely will be going back again.

• Pros: talented staff, friendly, not pretentious, care about their customers
• Cons: didn't experience any cons

The most talented hair colorist and cutter in LA

I have been modeling all over the world for more than 10 years. I have had the hardest time finding a killer hairstylist here in LA.....until now. Donna from Saints hair salon gave me the best cut and color I have had in years. Her cuts grow out beautiful. Color, super natural and exactly as I asked. And she's cool as hell too!! Check her out, you wont be disappointed.

worst hair experience ever

I recieved the worst cut and color. My hair is still growing from all the layers taht Donna put in my hair. I had to go somewhere else and be recut and colored.

That asian man also walks around a yells at people. So unprofessinal. It makes your hair experience stressful. Don't go there for peace and good service. Thumbs downn.
