It is delightful yes...but compared to antique shops found outside L.A. it has a lot of replicas and imitation jewlery..which is fine! Absolutely, but I do think that the owner of the shop might make a better ambiance if she were to humble herself by this understanding. It is a darling shop and I adore it, I just wish that the owner of the shop could relax in its aura rather then contrasting it buy her snotty attitude. I did not like how she treated the lady who worked for her either. I found it most distastful, she patronized her and snapped at her and was just rather loathesome. I wanted to get lost in the rhapsody of the environment, but found myself pinched to go as her demeanor seemed so gauche! I ve been to oodles of antique stores..part of th efun is having a sweet, intelligent or even quarky individual sell you the item..it adds more appeal to the object. The owner should put some honey in her tea! Lighten up!

Astounding ! Paris 1900 is a unique and inspired shoppe, well known around the globe for it's remarkable collection and service. Therefore, when I read the obviously vindictive, immature and spelling challenged tirade by mmolly, I was amused. From my experience over the years, with sending dozens of clients from all over the Planet, to Paris 1900, for Weddings, Films and Awards Programs; suffice it to say, that a far more likely a scenario is Ms. Lieberman had the temerity to convey to someone that she did not have anything in their color or size and the customer, perhaps ,took umbrage. I would submit mmolly take herself less seriously and rather than taking umbrage, she ought stop taking license with the truth. MDIDEROT

I searched all over Los Angeles for the perfect wedding dress that was unique to me and something no one could ever duplicate. I found it at Paris 1900! The dress truly is a work of art and it beats the 100s of dresses I found anywhere else. If you're looking for unique one-of-a-kind classic vintage lace dress this is your place. Since I've purchased my dress back in January the owner and designer (who I got to meet) have been very helpful. I even took a photo of them with the designer's mom who helped add beading to my dress to make it even better. I highly recommend this if you're like me and want it to be special. This is the place where you can find more than a strapless white ball gown that weights a ton.
Pros: the collection, the staff
Cons: it's on the west side if you live far east.

I have never had a worse retail expereince. The owner of Paris 1900 was rude and offensive to me. I am amazed that she can stay in business. Her mechandise includes many prom dresses being passed off as wedding dresses. She treats customers horribly. She has no sensitivity to the many emotions that come up when buying a wedding dress, and instead points out why dresses will not look good on the customer. This is the most negative experience I have had in both retail and wedding planning. I actively recommend that brides-to-be avoid this store.
