In Short
The bee, used in mythology to represent the power of nature, acts as the symbol of this serene Santa Monica day spa and aromatherapy boutique. This soothing space is accented with flowering plants and soft lighting, just the right backdrop for popular healing treatments like therapeutic body work, customized organic facials, soy-based waxing, slimming wraps and smoothing scrubs. Organic ingredients including yam, pumpkin, paprika and tropical fruit are some of the good-enough-to-eat ingredients that go into their peels and hydrating treatments. The herbal cellulite body wrap uses heat to increase blood flow and melt away unwanted puffiness. All hand and foot treatments use natural, non-toxic products that are water-based and earth-friendly. With a comitment to environmentally-friendly business practices, the salon uses recycled and sustainably sourced products as often as possible. Bath salts, natural perfumes, skin care products and essential oils are sold in the store.
This place is a treasure, with great massages and products!

As soon as I entered Bey's Garden my mood got better--- it feels welcoming and warm, you really have to go there to experience it. Additionally, the lady behind the desk couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. I came in to shop for organic fragrance (they have plenty and it's wonderful), and decided to get a massage. I wish I could remember the ladies name, but she was tall and German, and absolutely amazing, the best massage I've ever had. The rooms are much more calming and spacious that you would expect in a smaller retreat like Bey's- and to top it off, their prices are amazing for a location just a block off the beach. I will be back!
- Pros: Great therapists, sensational boutique, amazing prices!
- Cons: Just wish parking was easier, but worth the walk

this boutique version of a day spa offers the best personalized service you'll find in the LA area! If you've been in once, they remember you the next time you're in, and the therapists and esthetician's i've seen were amazing! the horrible crick in my neck melted away after an hour session with their talentend therapist (I can't remember her name-shame on me!). Parking can be a pain in the area, but the hunt is well worth it!
- Pros: prices are VERY reasonable for the area, they will come in early or stay late to accomodate
- Cons: parking is a challenge, esp. on weekends-weekdays are easier!
Wonderful Location, The Best Massages - What more can you ask for?

I wanted to express how much I love this place! The atmosphere is relaxing, the people are wonderful and the massages make you not want to get off of the table. All of their masseuses are highly skilled, trained and truly artists in their healing work. They offer a fair amount of services (I had at Reiki treatment, crystal therapy, and a massage) and would highly recommend them. The owner, Allison, is open, warm and highly personable to her customers. The retail area is well stocked and adds to the calming atmosphere. Overall, I believe this spa offers a nice change from Burke Williams and a great option for your monthly or bi monthly relaxation getaway in a city packed with insanity.
- Pros: Wonderful graduates from IPSB, spiritually balanced, great services and interesting decor
- Cons: My message on the voice mail was not returned, parking is a challenge

the esthetician did a very nice job on my eyebrows (i like a natural look & some places overtweeze, etc). i would trust her (claudia) to do them again. the place had a relaxing atmosphere & was also able to get me in on the same day that i called. i would definitely go back.
