What users are saying:
A low-key hotel with a bizarrely themed restaurant.

The Scene
With its comfy rooms and low-key service, you wouldn't think this hotel would stand out among the downtown players. But aside from its great urban setting, it offers a groovy, earthquake-themed restaurant, Shockwave, serving breakfast, lunch and Starbucks coffee amid fractured lines and kooky lamps hanging from the ceiling.
The Details
Beyond the awning and contemporary two-story lobby, the hotel's modest guest rooms are exceptionally clean and feature muted tones throughout. While lacking in sophistication, most do offer kitchenettes, a rarity in downtown. The hotel is one block from Disney Concert Hall, and within walking distance of Little Tokyo, MOCA, Chinatown and Olvera Street, a Mexican-themed walk street.
