Worst Is An Understatement!!!

If you can deal with being RAILROADED when it comes to repairs, Live Inhabitable with roaches and mold water damage poor plumbing and no security then this may be your place these people expect decent human beings to live like sewer rats. Kids get sick constantly here no matter how clean you are. The MANAGEMENT (lol) Are just way past unprofessional they YELL take pictures of people ILLEGALLY. They Litterally Never Fixed A Thing ive been here 2 yrs Faithfully working to pay my rent on time and really I never felt safe here or clean. All the things they said would be done when i moved in are still in the same condition regardless of numerous maintanance reports verbally and written to the on site manager now they claim to have not gotten my 30 day notice both verbally and written. They also stall out on your rental history when your trying to move
Kind of Slavery style rent. Let me not forget the Racial Tensions because of all of the favortisms. Not A Place for any Citizen of the united states. I now see that im not the only one that has gotten tired and spoken out about them and there crook style rental agreements. I GOT ALL THE PICTURES NOW and THEN... LAWYER ANYONE?
Worst Management I've ever Dealt With

On 4/30/2011 i submitted a maintenance in writing per my agreement request. I actually had my mother submit it on my behalf. She told me the manager got upset and starting say expletives in spanish. So when i got home i called the managers to see what the problem was. However no on answered. Like 15 minutes the management couple came up to my door to discuss my request or so i thought. I was then attacked verbally, they said that their gonna have my vehicle towed because it was parked illegally They are incompetent as they don't realize I'm entitled to one per our agreement.. The husband then began to attack my personal character. He has also been disclosing tenants complaints that are suppose to be kept in privacy to avoid conflict or retaliation. They are employing favorable conditions with certain tenants by allowing them to get satellite dish when it prohibits it in the contract. They also let them work on cars which is also prohibited. Yet they threaten to tow my car and attack my character because i wrote up a maintenance request. I have attempted to contact their superiors regarding their unprofessional behavior and i get the attitude from him. Do not under any circumstances rent from them. They keep the pool under lock and key during the summer. You can only swim when their home which is rare. It defeats the whole purpose of an onsite manager if they are never here. I asked for a pool key and they told me no, basically they have to babysit me if i want to go in the pool even though i am a grown adult. They said its for my own safety that i dont have a key, as if im going to wander in their on accident and drown myself.

WORST RENTAL EVER!

I LIVE AT THE HURLBUT APARTMENTS IN PASADENA. AS SOON AS MY HUSBAND AND I SIGNED A 1 YEAR LEASE, THAT IS WHEN WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD TO SHARE A WATER HEATER WITH 20 OTHER UNITS. THE PLUMBING SUCKS. IF I AM TAKING A SHOWER, I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY SWITCH THE TEMPERATURE.
I EITHER GET SCOLDED OR FROZEN WHILE BATHING. WE ASKED THEM TO GIVE US A KNOB FOR OUR STOVE, THEY GAVE US ONE FROM A DIFFERENT BRAND. NOE MY OVEN KNOB IS BROKEN, AND THEY WON'T REPLACE THE STOVE. I HAVE ASTHMA, AND I HAVE MOLD GROWING ON ROTTED WOOD UNDERNEATH MY KITHCEN SINK. I TOLD THEM TO REPLACE THE WOOD, AND TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM BEFORE WE MOVED IN.THEY PUT PUTTY AND PAINT OVER THE ROTTED WOOD AND MOLD.(THEY HAD 30 DAYS) IT'S NOW BEEN SINCE FEBRUARY . I TOLD THEM TO WEATHER PROOF THE SLIDING DOOR BEFORE WE MOVED IN. I CAN PUT MY FINGERS BETWEEN THE GAP OF THE SLIDING DOOR. THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING. THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE FIVE EMPTY APARTMENTS, AND LOSE RENT THAN TO FIX THE PROBLEMS RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I rented from them in Whittier for about 3 years. didn't really have issues except 3 months after I moved in, i was told i didn't pay the 2nd months rent and i owed them. i found my duplicate as i always keep and showed Ronnie or Rem or Rao (he goes by different names) I also told him he had already cashed it around the 7th of that month. he made a call "yelled" and said, oh they must have made a mistake. really?? then, i got yelled at for walking on the grass, when the only reason i did was because the manager was standing in the middle of the walkway and didn't move for me to pass. hello! the plumbing their is really bad, i was told it was just me and that i needed to stop putting food in the garbage disposal. how about that! then what's it for?? However, i hadn't been cooking for a couple of weeks since i was away so how could it be my fault? well apparently it was. its funny because the plumber practically lives there since they constantly have to call him to fix so many apartments every week! but it was MY fault! really? then i gave my 30 day notice, put that in the mail slot along with my last rent check and guess what? they got the check, but didn't quite get the notice which meant i wasn't going to receive my full deposit back of $695 because they took it out of my deposit. when you deal with these people, make sure you write everything down, make sure you give them your notice in their hand so they can't come back and say they didn't get it. make sure you cover your butt because they're looking to screw you any way they can. I'm going to fight them for my money! I'm certain this happens often with these people! if you can rent from someone else, do it. stay away from this company!! The apartment I rented was at Alta Loma apartments in Whittier. They own several different apartments so beware! They're a quiet couple from India, come off really nice but those are the ones you have to be careful with. i reported them to the better business bureau and if you or someone you know ever have issues similar to these, the BBB should be notified. its time to take a stand people, we live in America where we have freedom of speech and the right to sue for justice!!!

There were my complaints:
1. On 1.11.2010 Ram Sakul trespassed into my dwelling while I was sitting in my living room. He yelled at me for having called the housing authority. I was on the phone at the time and he yelled at me saying I was calling them again. He or Positive Investments did not give a written or an oral 24 hour notice. Only one 24 hour notice has been issued to me in the 3 years I lived there.
2. Unit is a one bedroom which is less than 7x10 and this room was not built with a permit. I have checked each permit pulled from 1908 till recent. I have a copy of each permit pulled.
3. Water leak damage occurred on the ceiling of my kitchen ceiling this has not been repaired. I have a copy of the inspector that saw and ordered that these repairs be made.
4. Water was shut off without notice on 4.01.2010. I called the Housing Department and have a report to prove.
They dont care if you sell drugs, if you pay the rent they dont care. If you complain about vandalism and safety they do nothing.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! I AM A TENANT & PAY MY RENT ON TIME EVERY MONTH & THEY'VE REFUSED TO COME & REPAIR MUCH NEEDED DAMAGE TO MY BATHROOM. I HAVE NO SHOWER HEAD, NO HOT WATER IN THE SINK, & WATER DAMAGE UNDER THE SINK BECAUSE OF A PIPE THEY BURST WHILE WORKING INA DIFFERENT APT. ALL MY PESONAL BELONGINS(FLAT IRON, TP, CURLING IRON, BLOWDRYER) WERE DAMAGED & ALL THEY WILL GIVE ME IS $25 CREDIT OFF NEXT MONTHS RENT. THERE'S NO MANAGER TO GO TO BECAUSE THEY'RE MORONS & IGNORE COMPLAINTS ANYWAYS SO I AM FURIOUS & I'M READY TO FIND A GOOD ATTORNEY. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY OR THEIR PROPERTIES BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL GARBAGE & POORLY KEPT.

They are trying to collect lease money from me and I don't even know who they are...
They even put it on my credit report. If they do not remove it . . there will be serious trouble.
I would watch out for this company, as their business practices are horrible and fraudulent.
