The best pizza I have had since moving to CA from NJ/NYC! A great neighboorhood Italian restaurant.

I was so relieved when I found Da Franco's. Not only do they have the best pizza I have had since I moved out here from New Jersey/NYC, but the rest of the menu is just as good.
If you order their pizza, I highly recommend getting it with fresh garlic. Da Franco's is not stingy with the fresh garlic either (okay, I'm getting hungry writing this up!).
Our other favorites include their Eggplant Parmesan and their Gnocchi. Both are mouth-watering with the marinara. Both of these dinners come with either soup or salad and garlic bread.
The service has always been exceptional. The waitresses are very friendly - neighborly, really. This really feels like a neighborhood Italian restaurant. That's the best way to put it. There's never a wait for a table, and never a long wait for your food or your check when you're finished. The prices are reasonable.
Needless to say, my wife and I go there once a week now.
- Pros: The pizza, the eggplant parm, the gnocchi, the service...
- Cons: closed sundays
One word "Authentic"

This place serves up some great Italian food. If you like your sauce to not be super acidic or runny, this is your place. You can taste the effort and expertise that is put into making this food. Very homemade in all aspects, not re-heated frozen stuff like you get at the the fancy places near by.
Any test of an Italian restaurant is their Spaghetti and Meatballs and this place has it down pat. I must admit that when I tried their Ravioli I was disappointed to find them under cooked. But that was not the norm and I'll chock it up to just being bussy, a fluke if you will.
With all the other foo-foo Italian joints near by, this hole-in-the-wall is often overlooked. Give um a try, good stuff.
- Pros: Great Food
- Cons: Ugly Decor
