I love this place. No pretenses. The walls are high in the men's room but they open at the ceiling and you can hear the conversation or borborgymal melodies of the dainty visitors next door. I take chubby at the very recollection.

Whoever books the bands must have one foot in heaven and the other in a Danish Bordello.

Last time I was there a midget tried to hide her elbow up my chute. I bought the house a round.

With that in mind, thumbs up!

No bilge rats here

I went to the Buccaneer with a few friends and was totally excited to find a place on the east side that gives us the warmth of a small bar and the fun of sailing the mid seas. Drinks were perfect and without the swagger of the trendy showoff bartenders found in so many other places these days. A definite plus to the San Gabriel Valley. i will be going back the next time my rowboat heads east of hollywood. Great music too... cant forget that part.

Cant go wrong with Pirates!

Arrggghhh!!! This place rocks!! A great jukebox, great down to earth bartenders, and pirates!! The inside of the Buc is done up in Pirate portraits and black light highlighted pirate paintings scrolling the length of the bar's backdrop... and the drinks are cheap as hell. the crowd is unpretentious and ever-friendly for a bunch of locals.

• Pros: darkly lit, good jukebox
• Cons: 1 pool table
