From its humble, nondescript storefront on Main Street, one would think Mike's is just another of the Fashion District's many no-name tailor shops. Recommended to me by prominent Downtowner, I brought a test shirt and pair of pants to Mike's and was not disappointed. I have since been back a second time and Mike's was able to repair (as much as possible) a shirt previously botched by another alterations place. I'll be going back. (As of 30 June 2008, Mike's only takes cash, so visit the ATM before coming to pick up your clothes.)
Pros: accurate work, convenient to Historic Downtown and Fashion District residences
Cons: cash only, no air conditioning (makes for uncomfortable changing rooms)
