good food
by dragoon101
I think everyone's being a bit hard on this place. I had a great time here and thought the food was good. I ordered their combination meat plate (minimum 2 people) that was $18/person but I thought it was well worth it. The chicken was a bit dry and I didn't expect the blood sausage, but overall it was tasty. I didn't have any problems with service and thought the waiter was friendly and prompt.
HORRIBLE SERVICE-Waiter practically accosted us
by neetsirk
We ended up leaving 15 minutes after we got there and it wasn't busy at all. First we had to track down the hostess to seat us. We were brought waters, told the specials and then the waiter disappeared for 15 minutes while we were ready to order. When we got up to leave we asked to speak to the manager. Instead of the manager coming outside the waiter came out and got in my boyfriend's face and raising his voice in front of the customers (real professional). The manager finally showed up and the waiter started talking about us in Spanish, not realizing my boyfriend is fluent. We will never go to that location again since management allows their employees to be so rude.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Rude Service
It was not good!

I want to start with bread, it was cold and not fresh. The steak was overcooked and honestly nothing really special over there.
- Pros: Atmosphere
- Cons: Bad food
NOT GOOD.

we've been here twice and were disappointed both times. one day they had a chilean sea bass special except it was not chilean sea bass and it was cold in the center. TERRIBLE. when we asked if it was chilean sea bass, no one could really answer us. the second time we went, the food was just bland and greasy. we've decided NOT to back to this location. the hollywood location was MUCH better and we would probably still go there.
- Cons: inconvenient parking, poor quality overall
Nothing Special.

Had lunch there with an acquaintance and was not all that impressed by the food. It's the usual stuff you can find at most menus. Ordered an $18 steak, it wasn't much on the plate if it weren't for the effects of the mashed potatoes. Didn't fulfill my hunger.
- Pros: seating arrangement
- Cons: , portions
Trendy Argentinean chain specializes in grilled steak, fried steak and steak-and-cheese sandwiches.

In Short
Green plants and a high ceiling lend a garden ambience to the contemporary dining room; dim lighting encourages romance. But the restaurant's main draw is meat, massive steaks served with piles of crispy fries and a variety of sauces. Vegetarians can opt for the Provoleta appetizer, a wedge of cheese melted in a mini-skillet and topped with fresh salsa. There are also several South American-inspired chicken and fish entrees, and an ambitious cocktail menu.
Tasty Argentinian Food.

This place is really authentic. An Argentinean Family took me here as a treat. I've had some of the mom's own home cooking and I'm a huge fan. This tasted just like her cooking. I haven't tried a lot off the menu, but the mashed potatoes and the breaded steak was so good. This is definitely a romantic place. The location was good, in the heart of old town, and with the location goes the tough parking.
- Pros: Good Food, Romantic
- Cons: Tough Parking
