Around 2001 I was searching for a specific stone to make a ring and I strolled unknowingly into Inta Gems. Unlike most of the booths in the vast world of the La jewelry district I knew right away I had found something as rare as the infamous Hope Diamond. As any of us who has gone to shop in the LA jewelry mart , it is a fast paced , cold , let's make a quick deal world and if your not ready to buy or not sure what you want you would be lucky just to get one of the merchants to even spend more than a few seconds with you. At Inta Gems I was met with just the opposite, Steve the son and his brother Peter are most always on site and ready to help you find and pick the perfect sone no matter how big or small or what shape, color and clarity you seek. Steve is a real gemologist (unlike most) and is probably one of the most knowledgeable people in the whole district. I have purchased so many items from them over the years there is far to many to list from custom rings to braclets, necklaces and single stones. I will tell you my most important experience . When you walk in you are greeted like family , from their father, mother and sister , you are given great idea's, shown many different choices and you are sure to find exactly what you want and in the best price range anywhere in the entire district. They also work with a custom ring maker that will design and build whatever it is you seek and the quality is better than the finest of big name companys with a better than one third the price. Steve and Peter along with the Family have became like Family to me and they have found stones for me that are one of a kind in the world. Don't mess around in the maze of generic jewelry, go to the best and you will be sure to get the best "Inta Gems"

So, earlier this year I was looking for the perfect diamond, for my perfect woman, at the best price I could find. I had a budget and a whole list of spec's that I wanted. Any man who has done this before would know how extensive and how hard it is to find the perfect ring. I was a man on a mission, and explored every option - internet, referrals from friends, local shops, and even the big "engagement" ring stores. After driving around all of LA and Orange County, a friend told me to look downtown...but to beware of unscrupulous vendors. I did my research and decided to go to Inta Gems, it looked reputable and got awesome reviews...so I thought that I would check it out. I am so glad that I did! Right away I was greeted by friendly people and the selection was amazing! I had looked up diamonds on their site and found the exact one I was looking for. I wasn't totally into it, but we found an even better one, at a better price! It was an amazing diamond and they had tons of options for the actual ring and setting. My fiance really liked a certain style and we found it...and she LOVES IT!!! I felt totally comfortable with Steve and his staff right away, which was such a nice change from the diamond hustlers I had been in contact with throughout. He has an amazing knowledge of diamonds, and he offers them at a great price. He pretty much only carries GIA certified diamonds so I knew right away that the diamond I got was legit and priced correctly - even got a better deal - and free resizing if needed. I wish I had gone there right from the start, would have saved me a lot of time and energy! I know that I will go there for all my future diamond needs! I was referred to Inta Gems by a close friend and as soon we walked in we were treated so good like we were family. Peter took the time to go through the process of selecting diamonds and we found the perfect one! Top of the line quality diamond and he helped find the perfect ring setting that had a matching band. It was a great deal. Everyone there was just so friendly and helpful. No pressure at all. We had to get the ring resized and the diamond mounted so we had to wait after the store was closed, but everyone kept us entertained. We would never get this experience anywhere else!! Definitely would recommend Inta Gems for all your jewelry needs.

I found my diamond engagement ring at Inta and my fiance and I couldn't have been happier with our purchase. My ring is stunning, unique, and seemed made for me. We also got a great price and it was such a pleasure to work with Steve and his staff. They were helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. And their selection is very unique and high quality. We feel very fortunate to have found Inta Gems. I would definitely go back again. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for that special something. This process can be quite overwhelming, but everyone at Inta made the process a wonderful experience. Thank you!

We had a custom 3-stone anniversary ring made at Intagems and are incredibly happy with the results. The ring came out beautifully thanks to Peter. Intagems made the setting as we had described and found perfectly matching diamond side stones. It's been a pleasure working with such knowledgeable, talented and friendly professionals. Thanks again for everything Peter!

INTA Gems provided my fiance and I with more than just a gorgeous engagement ring and excellent service, but also added to our overall engagement experience. My fiance had searched all over the internet and Los Angeles for the perfect engagement ring. He decided to purchase at INTA Gems because he finally found a very high quality diamond and setting at an extremely reasonable price. He said it was a great experience working with Steve at INTA Gems and that he was very knowledgable and personable. Steve is definitely not a typical salesman. He was geniunely concerned with our overall satisfaction and was sensitive to the fact that purchasing an engagement ring is a very emotional and personal event, which he positively contributed to. When my fiance and I returned to INTA Gems for the ring sizing, Steve immediately recognized my fiance and called him by name. He was very excited for the two of us. Again, Steve made our experience a very pleasant and memorable experience. We will definitely return here for our wedding bands, as well as for our other jewelry purchases. Because of the great service, high quality jewelry, and very reasonable prices, I HIGHLY recommend INTA Gems, Diamond & Jewelry!

My Fiance and I had a wonderful experience at Inta Gems!! I actually had heard of Inta Gems by looking online and reading the reviews. We couldn't find the store at first so we looked around at other places. When we finally found Inta Gems we couldn't believe the difference in quality that they had compared to the other stores we had looked at. We were looking for an engagement ring and everyone there helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Especially Peter who took his time by explaining to us the differences in the diamonds we were looking at . (He really knows his stuff!) I really liked that we were not pressured into buying anything and all the time they spent with us. We ended up buying the ring that day which is absolutely beautiful! I get so many compliments on it!! Peter and his dad were great, I would definitely send all my girlfriends here! We will be going back for more jewelry!! KC

INTA Gems offers the best selection of Sapphire engagement rings. With every visit I was able to have all my questions answered. I felt this family owned jeweler store offered the best customer cervice and best prices around. When purchasing my fiance’s Sapphire engagement ring Peter was able to work with my budget and could I not have found a better deal. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in search of rare, high quality gems. I will defiantly return for future jewelry purchases.

Everyone at Inta Gems was very friendly and, more importantly, honest and sincere. We went in to look at blue sapphire stones and, boy do they have a nice selection. We found an amazing stone that was GIA certified. Peter and his team custom built the setting and it was created in a timely manner. The ring came back beautiful and I was very happy with it. After we purchased the ring we took it to get an unbiased appraisal (in addition to the one Peter gave us free of charge) and it came back slightly lower than what we paid, which indicates a fair retail price but not a "wholesale" price. However the appraisal did verify the quality of the stone. I would suggest to be cautious and educated about the price you are willing to pay - don't expect wholesale prices just because you are shopping `downtown.

INTA Gems is truly a "diamond in the rough." Amongst the many choices of jewelers in the downtown Los Angeles jewelry district is a store that truly treats you as a valued customer. I went to SEVERAL of the jewelers both in the downtown jewelery district as well as the china town jewelery district. INTA Gems is THE ONLY place that had an amazing selection, UNBEATABLE prices, and THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE out of all the places I had visited (and I visited many many many stores). PETER YOUNG is one of the sons of the family run INTA Gems who really took his time to explain and help select THE BEST DIAMOND that I encountered. The wide selection of diamonds is intimidating at first but with Peter's GIA Graduate Gemologist's expertise I quickly found and purchased THE MOST unbelievable GIA CERTIFIED, LASER INSCRIBED, D-color, 0.86, Ex Ex Ex (yes the best of the best of the best of the best) diamond. The entire family was attentive and inviting as if I were a personal guest in their home. I will ALWAYS go back to INTA Gems for ALL of my future purchases and you should too. Shop around if you like but you will not be able to beat the customer service and value that you are guaranteed to receive at INTA Gems.
