Pretty cool place

Love the ribs here, the crab cakes are excellent. This place is nice jem in Glendale. If you like Smokehouse or Tam O'Shanter, I think you'll like this place.

Nice little friendly bar and grill to eat some good food and listen to some great jazz. But get there early. Seating can be a problem sometimes and people take their time to eat because the music sounds so good. I recommend.

COCKROACHS in the BREAD BASKET!!!

Horrible experience! Cockroache infestd. We gave this place three chances, each time there were huge (3-5 inch) cockroachs. They lie to you and say ther come from upstairs but one even crawled out of the BREAD BASKET!!! The manager couldn't have cared less!!! It was ABSOLUTELY horrible! If you're ok with that, the ambiance is ok.

There are plenty of viewpoints for checking out big-screen TVs or other patrons lounging at the long bar. Get comfortable in one of the roomy booths and order one of the delicious appetizers or a full meal. Then relax and enjoy top local jazz ensembles. No matter when you go, there's always a good crowd, engaging bartenders and music that's low enough to hear your conversation.

Great Place

JAX is a great place. Good food, good drink, nice people, good service. There is no Sunday Jam session, and likewise there's no clicks, so please disregard the below review. Great music tuned to the perfect volume, and nothing really bad to say about it.

best fries anywhere

the fries are thin but its all about the oil they use...you just have to try them with a their grilled chix sandwich. i swore off on chix sandwiches for years..theyre always soggy and bland, but jaxx's is delicious. i go in there for lunch takeouts so i havent checked out their nite scene yet.

not so good

I went there with my girl last sat. night and i was a little disappointed. I had ordered a $23 filet and it was overcooked. However it was kind of a cool place with a nice atmosphere, but i reccomend go there if you feel like dropping 60+ on drinks( and not get a buzz)

Fun and Relaxing

Jax Bar & Grill is a great place to go to. Their serivce is excellen, the music is the best, and the crowd is nice too!! I highly recemmend it for those who enjoy a fun and relaxing place after a long day at work.

Best Ribs Anywhere

I used to die for Dr. Hogly Wogly's until I had Jax. Best Ribs Anywhere. Always perfect, great sauce and the ribs fall off the bone and melt in your mouth.

Good Food; beware of Jam

Have been here twice. The atmosphere is nice and homey and the food is good. I do, however, suggest if you are ever considering attending the Sunday jam session, you pass and find another place. It is ultra-clickish and full of student players who have some serious attitude problems. Maybe their parents didn't give them enough attention, but whatever the case, it is not conducive for anyone outside of their inner circle to enjoy sitting in on a song or two.
