Awesome Tanning Experience

I just went there for the first time and had a great experience. Because it was my first time at that particular tanning salon, the girl at the front took the time to tell me about the prices and the different types of beds. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is like that of a spa. The other thing I thought was cool was that every room had its own CD Player/Radio. At other tanning salons i've been too, the radio didnt work and you had to bring your own CD and wear headphones. But at Kool Rays, the radio works (which is nice if you forget musci) and there is no static. Kool Rays is veryyyy clean and they have a great selection of tanning lotions. I would recommend this place to first timers and tanning experts alike!

The best tanning experience !

I have been going there for a while. The salon looks great and offers a large selection of the latest equipment. The staff is friendly, professional, and very helpful.

I would highly recommend it for anyone who what to enjoy a spa like experience with the best tanning equipment i ever seen !!

Kool Rays - "Kool" Place

I've been going to Kool Rays for a couple of years now and I just love it! A couple of things I love about this place is that its the cleanest tanning salon i've ever been to and the customer service is excellent! Jessica, by far, is the sweetest employee there! I also love how they make themselves familiar with their customers. When I walk in, they are on a first name basis and are very welcoming. There are also many selections for tans -- from the tanning bed, to stand-up, to mystic tan-- and price plans that range to what you are looking specifically looking for.

• Pros: Friendly staff, very clean atmosphere
• Cons: limited parking in their lot, but plenty on the street

Best Service Tanning Salon...

I had been to other tanning salons before, and they just check you in and throw you into a bed. But Kool Rays was completely different. The people there are very friendly, interested in getting the best result for you/your skin type. The rooms are clean, and they offer a really good variety of beds to choose from. A really great experience.

Very Classy Salon

Kool Rays is the best salon in Glendale. It looks like a spa and is an upscale salon. The place is spotless 24/7. All the girls that work there are very sweet and helpful and help you find the best package and lotion. The beds are nice and strong and the bulbs are changed regularly. I have been to other salons and after Kool Rays I won't go anywhere else.

kool ray anyday...

I have been going to tanning salons for years and this place by far outshines the rest. Not only are the staff friendly and informative they're HOT! I mean really HOT! Don't get me wrong the attractive staff isn't why I frequent this salon, it's because I'm very careful about how I treat my skin, and they not only have the latest in tan technology, the salon is very clean, and everyone that works there knows everything there is to know about the beds, spray tans, and the products! It's not the closest salon to my house but it is definitely worth the drive, it's the only place that I'll tan!!! Check it out for yourself!

Best tanning experience

Friendly, clean, experienced. A gorgeous, spa looking salon with every type of tanning machine you can want. Open late, so you can tan after work and before going out.

The staff is awsome, the place is upscale, and the beds are strong.

Kitschy Name, AMAZING Place

My cousin and I were looking for a tanning salon close to our homes. I searched for tanning salons in Glendale and came up with Kool Rays. Yeah, the name is kitschy, but the place is wonderful. The atmosphere and place are clean and relaxing. The staff there walked us through the different types of beds, and how to operate them. The rooms are nice, big and clean. There are stereos mounted to the walls just at the height of the bed. You can bring your own music to pass the time. Best yet, the prices were amazing, about a third the cost of the ones down in Hollywood. I will definitely go back. Please note that the mapquest map on citysearch is off. Call for directionsI got lost. Oh, theyre open on the weekdays to 10pm, taking their last appointment at 9:30! YAY!

The name is tacky but the place is nice.

No waiting. Clean rooms and friendly staff. You can play your own CD, tapes, or radio. The owner is very nice, and the ambiance is relaxing.
