This is a huge 2 story library in the middle of Glendale! This is where I used to always go to if I needed a book for school or just was interested in a subject (Pre Internet) phase. I'd still be going there if I didnt owe 45 bucks on a book I never returned! Anyhow theres alot of computers to use at your disposal. Nice childrens section aswell! And you can look through there database and see if they have the book you want at another Glendale Branch location. They even share there books with pasadena which adds to the huge selection. This Branch your almost sure that you'll get the book your looking for! Check it out! Literally! Check it out!

Agreed, Glendale Library is a great resource and the hours are convenient. If you're an architecture buff, check out the Brand Park branch. Stunning white Morrocan fascade is amazing and Brand Park is a very lively, safe and spacious place for a picinic

I live in Glendale and find this library very convenient. The staff is generally very helpful, and I like the fact that there is a large common area to sit and read. The Glendale/Pasadena public libraries has an online website, so you can put books on hold online and pick them up when you get to the library. You can also check all the locations online for your books. I LOVE how they have made it easy by putting their database online.

The selection isn't massive here, but it's really pretty good. The best thing is that the Glendale and Pasadena libraries share resources, so it's easy to request books not at this location. And the staff are very helpful -- they'll help you request books from other libraries if they don't have them in their system.
