One or two notches better than Sizzler.

I've been to the original location in Agoura Hills. Although they have bar-b-que in their name, they're just a family oriented steakhouse that serves ribs. Prices are reasonable, food is reasonable, but don't go looking for serious barbeque.
- Pros: Decent value.
- Cons: Not barbeque., Portions are modest.

We tried the new location at "The Grove" adjacent to the Farmers Market in LA last night, and would like to warn the citysearch readership that the Grove location is HORRIBLE. The food, SERVICE , location and parking (or lack thereof) were unacceptable. I have no idea what the upper management at WR is thinking about, but they have certainly placed a group of inept individuals at the Grove location as management and servive here were unspeakably poor. We had to draw our own drink refills. Meat was overcooked with no apologies provided. Long story short, I did something I have never done in my life - left $0.01 tip (tab was $110 for 5). Don't go to this location! If you are experienced with the WR chain - you will regret trying this place.
